After my first battle, I came into a glaring problem. I don't have a weapon. I guess I need to grind my crafting skills to get better at it. With that in mind, I jump down to the forest floor and look for a sharp rock. After a little while of searching, I found a decently sharp rock. It should be good enough for making pointy sticks.
The next step would be to gather branches, and with the giant forest around me, I don't have any shortage of them. Now I will repeatedly sharpen the sticks and rank up my crafting skill. Every time my skill ranks up it feels like somehow I gain more knowledge related to the skill. However, it's as if I need to put no effort in actually gathering the info. I can repeatedly sharpen sticks and somehow learn about other crafting related things. That means if I learn building and blacksmithing skills I might be able to make a weapon and a safe place. It would take some grinding to get my skills up to the point where I could effectively build a house or a forge.
The prospect of getting good at certain things by repeatedly doing something was amazing. This world's system is extremely broken or maybe it's me that is broken? Either way, I should take advantage of it. I have a new training schedule, courtesy of yours truly. In the morning I will hunt monsters around my level. In the afternoon I will build simple structures like fences, out of twine and branches I can find. Afterward, I will deconstruct them so I can build them again, and repeat. At night for around half of the night, I will meditate. Then, I will spend the whole time till morning repeatedly making spears.
**Roughly a week later**
[Basic Wooden Spear:
A stick that has a pokey end. It's decent, about as good as a stick can get.
Durability: 15/15]
Finally, I have made significant progress in crafting and building. My fences look something along the lines of,
[Wooden Fence
It can keep toddlers and small animals at bay.
Durability: 50/50]
My status looks like this.

Alright, to level up faster I need to set up a base of operations. To do that I will need a crude ax to chop trees and use them. I will search for an ax head-shaped rock and will try to fashion it into an ax. Using vine and a branch that can hopefully withstand the force needed for chopping a tree.
**A couple of hours later**
I found the needed materials, now I just need to put them together like so, and there we go. I got an ax! Now to test this bad boy out.
[Crude Ax:
This thing might break. Also, can you even call this an ax?
Durability: 3/3]
Walking up to a tree that I could easily wrap my arms around I swing towards the tree and BOOM! A sound vibrates through my entire body as I underestimate my strength. The tree was completely cut through with one swing, though it seems as though it wasn't like a typical ax cut, it was very bad. You could tell I went through the tree with brute strength instead of a good ax and finesse. Now, my ax is broken beyond repair and my {Identify} won't even recognize it as a thing.
With a small heave, I pick up the fallen tree and take it back to a slightly more open area. As I was heading towards the area, I sense an aura. A strong one, it was at least C Rank and it was gaining on me fast. It must have heard the commotion and latched onto my aura or smell. From living in the forest for the past 2 months I have been able to get a general idea of an animal's strength. How they convert to stats, no idea.
As it gets closer the aura starts to suffocate me a bit. I drop the tree and turn around to face the threat, and out of nowhere, I get tackled and all the wind is knocked out of me. I catch a glimpse of the beast while my vision seems to be failing me, it seems to be a four-armed gorilla. I quickly decide to identify it.
[Girallon:
A beast that is much like a gorilla, but with four arms. Highly territorial, and extremely fast despite its size. Mid C-rank]
Seems like I was right about most of the stuff. Hmm, extremely fast. 'This will be fun' I think while standing up. It has only been a couple of seconds since he tackled me to the ground, and I am recovered already. I try to keep my eye on him, but he moves like a blur. He knocks me to the ground once again, I immediately move the mana to my eyes.
Standing up once again, but he was once again too fast. Even with my mana in my eyes, I was struggling to keep up. I kept pushing my self, I started pulling mana from outside my body and pushed it all into my eyes. Trying to overclock my eyes to the maximum. I could finally keep up with the gorilla's movements, however, my body couldn't.
With a quick shoulder bash from the Girallon. I was smashed into a tree and my spine broke sending everything black.
