All night and morning, Luna bumped her head on the wall, pulled her hair, and cursed at herself for making assumptions about Haemin.
By avoiding him and preferring Hyun, she was actually preferring the devil over an angel and those were Yubi's words not hers.
She had called Yubi and asked about Haemin and Yubi kept going on and on about how he was a such a good person and an even better guy to date, not that Luna was interested.
She told her how down to earth, friendly, kind and compassionate he was.
Yubi and him went to highschool together and Haemin was really popular and he wasnt at all arrogant, he was friends with literally everyone, even the janitor.
A true flower boy.
But none of what Yubi said, pleased Luna, it simply made her feel worse for misjudging him.
She asked Yubi about what she should do next and Yubi told her to just apologize, Haemin didnt hold grudges.
And that's exactly what Luna planned on doing, she intended to swallow her pride, and ask for forgiveness, for he quite possibly was the kind of person she needed in her life.
So, she set early morning at the campus as the time and place for the apology.

At 3 in the morning, Luna went to the kitchen and started baking every recipe that showed up on her Pinterest feed.
She needed to calm her nerves, which were going completely insane just thinking about the possibility of Haemin not accepting her apology.
And she really didnt need karma coming back to bite her in the ass later on for doing wrong by someone.
By 6, the kitchen counter was lined with trays of mini cupcakes, tarts, and quiches and she stared at them blankly when she was done.
I cant eat all of this by myself.
She realized dumbfoundedly and tried to think of what to do with them.
"Woah. Did you finally make some friends and happen to have a party today?" Jihoon joked as he grabbed a tart and looked at the decoration at the top, "Or a tea party?"
She ignored his remark, "You're up early."
"Yeah well I have to up my game at work, because guess what? I have a rival." He said it casually but she could sense the edge in his voice.
"How can that be? You're the sole heir. Uncle cant give the company to anyone else."
Jihoon poured himself a glass of cold milk, "Yeah yeah, Im still the heir but until the day its handed over to me, I want to be the Vice President so that I know the company better.
"Oh so thats the position you're working for right now." She uttered and moved to make him an omelette , "Who's your rival?"
"His name is Hyuck Kim. He went to bussiness school with me, he placed first."
She looked up at him, " And what was your position?"
"Nineth."
Yikes.
"And how do you plan on beating him?" She asked while whipping the eggs with a fork.
"I asked Francis to come to Korea to help me."
Luna dropped the bowl and the beaten egg splattered everywhere.
Jihoon's eyes widened and he opened and closed his mouth like a fish, "He's the Vice CEO at your grandfather's company... so I thought he would be a huge help." He said slowly gauging her reaction, "Luna are you okay?"
She didnt reply to him and asked the maid to clean up the mess.
She slowly walked around it and headed for the door,
"Hey, listen Im sorry, I didnt know." He called out.
"I may have gone overboard with the baking," she chuckled nervously, "I should go lie down."
She stepped on the stairs and held onto the railing for support, her legs all wobbly.
Francis is coming to South Korea.
Ill finally find out why he was absent all this time.
No more avoiding it.
Either I have a brother or no family at all.
The day Luna was released, she wasn't half as scared as she was now.
She never had much expectations from her parents and she knew Francis wouldnt be home because he moved out a long time ago (her grandma told her that).
Being 10 years older than her, Francis had basically raised Luna, with more fatigue than help from Renè's side.
He read her bedtime stories, played with her, taught her how to swim, how to ride a bicycle, took her to school on her first day.
In fact he was the first one to realize how gifted Luna was at academics and the first one to praise her for it.
He was her role model, her guardian angel, her safe haven.
And when he didnt visit her in juvie even once, she got worried, then confused, then angry, and then sad.
If it werent for Jade, she would've dug permanent gashes in her palms by clenching her hands so much.
She was afraid to find out if he had actually abandoned her or had a genuine reason.

Conversations surrounded Luna as the time for class to start was nearing and students kept entering the class but the one person she wanted to see wasn't walking through that door.
She herself didnt know why she was getting so anxious over Haemin being late.
With only 10 minutes on the clock Luna suddenly remembered the first time she saw Haemin, he went to sleep on the bench in the garden.
She got up from her seat and raced out bumping into others in her haste, and sure enough there he was.
Sleeping soundly on a bench hidden behind a wall shrub.
For a second she didnt know what she was supposed to do, would he be okay with being disturbed like this and what if he had decided on skipping class.
As she stood there pondering her next actions, she noticed that he had long and pretty eyelashes.
If she had backed away he might've heard the sound of the leaves crunching under her steps.
"Haemin." She called out finally with her voice low.
And to her surprise he 'hmmed' in response.
"Its time for class."
"Its... time for.. class." He repeated, almost mumbling.
Then his eyes flew open and he instantly sat up, he blinked for a few seconds and tried to wake up properly.
He looked at Luna and blinked again.
"Luna?" His eyebrows furrowed.
"Class starts in like 5 minutes." She muttered and turned to go back but waited for a few seconds for him to come along and he did.
They quietly walked side by side and weirdly none of them was in a hurry.
"Didn't get enough sleep this morning?" She asked casually.
"Uh yeah, our neighbor's dog howled all night long like a lone wolf."
Luna looked at him and her mouth formed an 'O'
"Im so sorry. Ill have his ken moved to the backyard." She apologised.
"Oh no its fine, Ill wear ear plugs. What wrong with him though?"
"He just isnt confortable with the new place yet." She lied smoothly.
"You should buy him chew toys or have a dog play area installed. Oh or you could get another dog so that he isnt lonely anymore." He suggested enthusiastically.
Luna smiled, "That's a good idea. Ill do that."
They entered the building "Wait." Haemin stopped her, "Luna, where's your bag?"
"Oh its in class." She replied nonchalantly.
Haemin fell silent for a few steps but then spoke again, his face looked like he was trying to figure out something.
"So you came out just to get me?" He asked, disbelief tinting at his tone and a smile beginning to appear.
Luna smiled at his childish grin and nodded shyly.
Haemin's smile grew wider at that.
I should apologise now while I still have the courage.
Luna thought.
Just before they could enter the class Luna grabbed his arm to stop him.
He looked at her and Luna looked at the ground, finding eye contact overwhelming.
"The thing is..." she pulled at a hair strand, her stance, nervy.
Haemin patiently waited for her to complete.
"Im really.. really really sorry for being so rude to you, I can be absolutely neurotic around new people."
Haemin waved his hands and shook his head as if her apology wasn't necessary but Luna continued her babbling.
"And I judge people so quickly which is kinda not my fault because not all people are good but its still very wrong of me because not all people are bad too."
"Its fine. Really." Haemin chuckled, "All is well." But Luna still kept on.
"And I can be weird around normal people sometimes and I know these must sound like excuses but- "
"Luna." He interjected and held her shoulders, "We can start over."
She breathed out in relief and nodded with a smile.
He flashed her a grin.
"Alright Miss. Bennet if you are done apologising to Mr. Darcy, can you please enter the class? Or better yet let me?" Their Professor said from behind them sarcastically and they both rushed inside, snickering.
