Chapter 46 - ABOUT TO PICK UP....

"The last thing Rose will be afraid of will be snakes" Ethan said as he chuckled in amusement.

Evelina looked at him and scoffed lightly with an annoyed look on her face.

"Why is that" Lauren asked as he looked at Ethan and Evelina in confusion. Everyone walked towards James and Evelina waiting for Ethan or Evelina to answer for Lauren's question.

"Our Third Sister is afraid of snakes and First Brother along with Second Brother liked to prank her with wood snakes which then slowly changed into real snakes in recent years. I was the one who handled it for her so the last thing I will be afraid of is snakes" Evelina shrugged casually about it.

All of them then walked towards The Great Hall for breakfast. The older kids who were in Ravenclaw and Slytherin also decided to join the other ones in Gryffindor table for the breakfast.

Evelina sat down in between Ethan and Lauren with James in front of her. Evelina was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast spread on the table.

Cornflakes, Scrambled eggs, Bacon, porridge, rolls, sausages and toast were on the table with orange and pumpkin juice for beverage.

Evelina silently sighed in relief at the breakfast; she simply placed a toast on her plate and poured herself a glass of orange juice. She was about to pick a knife and fork for the toast when Ethan pressed her hand down on the table.

She looked up and her eyes met with Ethan, who eyed her hands which were about to pick up the cutlery.

Evelina realised she was about to commit a serious mistake, she moved her hand to the glass and sipped the juice silently. She then reluctantly picked up the toast with bare hands and nibbled on it.

The little interaction between Evelina and Ethan did not miss James's eyesight. He was actually surprised when Evelina was about to pick up fork and knife to eat the slice of toast.

As it was first day and was early as well, the Great Hall was still less crowded. The group was about to finish their breakfasts, when someone neared them.

"How is it going kids" Harry asked with a warm smile on his face, everyone except Evelina and Ethan beamed him cheeky smiles whereas the other two smiled and nodded politely in a refined and elegant manner.

"It is good for all of us except, these two I guess" Fred responded to Harry as he pointed towards Roxanne and Dominique.

Harry, Neville and Oliver gave kids a questioning look, as they did not get the meaning behind Fred's sentence.

"It was not a good start of the day you could say" Alice said as she was trying her best not to burst out laughing, Evelina sipped her orange juice silently, to suppress her laughter which was threatening to break out any moment.

"Why might that be" Neville asked as he looked at other kids with an amused expression on his face.

The boys started laughing; Dominique and Roxanne glared at them. Alice and Evelina cleared their throat in an attempt to control their laughter. The three elders turned to look at the older kids who were equally confused as them.

"I and Alice woke up early but Alice forgot to turn off her alarm, when that rang these two were so startled that they fell of the bed and got entangled" Evelina said in a calm tone but could not hide the smirk on her face.

The elders were first shocked but later burst out laughing as well, Roxanne and Dominique continued to eat their breakfast sulkily.
