"Shall we leave for our next class" Evelina asked as she packed up her stuff deftly and looked at others calmly.
"Where is your wand, did you forget it in the dorm itself" Alice asked as she noticed that Evelina's wand was missing.
"I don't have one" Evelina said as she looked at Alice calmly, her expression said otherwise Alice would have taken it for a joke.
"W-what do you mean by 'you don't have one', do you seriously not have a wand" Alice was taken aback as she asked in a tone full of disbelief.
"That is right, I do wandless magic so I don't require one" Evelina said calmly as she smiled towards Alice warmly like a elder sister smiling at her clueless younger sister.
[There are two types of magic, first one requires wand which is personally made for the wizard or witch. Every wand has only one master except for the extremely powerful ones (Elder Wand). Second one is Wandless Magic which does not require and wand and can be done with hands.]
The ones who heard her looked at her dumbfounded, wandless magic was not something everyone could achieve. Even the professors don't know it, only few people have been ever known to have mastered wandless magic and none of them were alive at the time.
Wandless magic was very hard not only because of the skill level it required but also because it needed perfect concentration and control over the strength and power of the one using it or else it could backfire and the consequences would be dier if it did.
Evelina shrugged nonchalantly and started walking out of the room, only when she was out of sight did everyone regain their senses and realised what happened.
"Tell me it was my illusion that Eva said, she does wandless magic" Fred almost shouted in disbelief and shock, as it was too much for him to digest.
"No....it was certainly not an illusion" Alice breathed out in shock and disbelief as well, she found it hard to digest it.
"Eva said so nonchalantly as if it was not something hard to achieve and she did nothing great" Roxanne said breathlessly, she found it hard to fathom to achieve wandless magic as she was struggling to use her wand properly till a year back.
"As far as I remember, the last person who could do wandless magic was Voldemort. Then how come there is someone else who could years after he died" Lysander said as he was deep in his thoughts.
Just when they all were deep in their thoughts, the Gryffindor Prefect Aurora Frostier stepped inside the class.
"Everyone listen, after lunch you will be going back to your own main halls as the house heads want to talk with you all" Aurora said in a stern and serious tone.
As soon as she was done turned around and left the classroom as she was done with the work she came in for.
Murmurs engulfed the classroom as soon as Aurora left the classroom, Fred looked at James and then others in a serious way.
"I think, the house heads will be finally explaining about why Minnie mentioned Eva's family lineage while introducing her yesterday during the sorting ceremony" Fred said as he looked at everyone seriously.
"Looks like we are finally getting answers for all the questions we had since yesterday" Dominique said as she looked at everyone.
Others nodded to her statement in agreement, since yesterday Evelina suddenly became a mystery to everyone.
They thought they knew her well, as they spent more than ten days with her but suddenly they discovered that they only knew one-hundredth of her and still ninety-nine parts of her were remaining to be discovered.
