"Why is the identity being revealed already" Lauren asked as he looked at the blue eyes boy beside him.
"She is the youngest among four of us, she is now old enough to carry the burden so all our identities will be revealed, I guess." The blue eyed boy answered in a casual manner.
"Ethan, what do you mean by 'I guess', don't you have an accurate answer" Lauren asked in a slightly annoyed tone.
"I'm not sure either, it is not like the elders discuss everything with us. I am sure it would be a shock to her as well" Ethan answered honestly.
Lauren sighed and reluctantly nodded his head in understanding, he of all people knew that even the most powerful ones are vulnerable sometimes.
Just when they were about to continue, gasps were heard throughout the Great Hall. All the students including the girls were simply stunned by the beauty who stepped up on the stage dressed crisply in her Ilvermorny robes.
"When did she change her robes, she was clearly wearing her Hogwarts robes" Lauren looked at his sister in confusion and surprise.
Ethan who was seated beside him could not help but question his choice of friends as his only friend was as dumb as a cow.
Her poise elegant and authorative, she gave subtle nods to every professor as a way of greeting them.
"Are you sure you are her blood related brother and not an adopted one" Ethan asked after a moment of silence.
Lauren's head jerked towards the blue eyed boy sitting right beside him, who was provoking him leisurely.
"Of course there is no doubt in it" Lauren answered as he looked at Evelina on the stage who walked towards Headmistress with authoritative poise and elegance.
"I really pity her" Ethan said as he sighed helplessly provoking Lauren further.
Before Lauren could retort back, Headmistress McGonagall spoke up after a polite handshake with Evelina.
"This is Evelina Rose McJonnes, she will be the representative from Ilvermorny who will be here for next two years. I hope you all will get along well" Headmistress McGonagall said as she nodded sternly towards all the students.
In the Gryffindor and Slytherin table many faces were clouded with confusion and shock. Lauren was faced with many confused glances by his little friends in Ravenclaw, namely Rose, Louis, Lucy and Augusta.
Lauren simply shrugged indicating he did not know as well, which was a clear lie in the eyes of Ethan who scoffed lightly in annoyance, which Lauren ignored without any hesitation.
Headmistress McGonagall then motioned Evelina to sit down on the stool, the latter nodded in agreement and sat down on the stool elegantly with a straight back.
The Sorting Hat was placed after Evelina removed her Navy blue Flat Bowler Hat which was part of her uniform.
"Another Wood is here, but the only one with characteristics of a Wood. You are brave and intelligent, at the same time loyal and sly. You are a perfect mixture of all houses; you can be in house you wish to be in" the Sorting Hat said in her mind.
"I am fine with any house you put me in" Evelina said calmly and honestly.
"You are putting me in great dilemma, you are without any doubt perfect to bear the Wood and McJonnes blood" Sorting Hat said in Evelina's head.
Evelina was quiet, she was fine with any house as she did not think much about it. She was fine with or without her friends as for her they did not matter. The Sorting Hat started to sulk because of Evelina's blank head which made his work a lot harder.
