Sulcan or as some call it the city of races, is in a word amazing.
Each and every building in this city is unique, no two are alike. From giant mansions and castles to small huts and homes no two homes are the same. Not to mention each building is made perfectly for its owner, down to the smallest detail.
Also with no limit on religion the amount of temples, shrines, statues, etc is well within the thousands.
However all this fails in comparison to it's greatest masterpiece, the city wall.
The wall it's self isn't made from stone like most, but steel, iron, etc. That's not all either as it's enchanted by hundreds of thousands of magic spells, making it completely resistant to all damage physical or magical.
But the wall isn't unbeatable as you can scale it, however with dozens of magic spells, arrows, and other things shooting at you it makes it damn near impossible.
Even If you did somehow scale the wall there's still the huge army of humans, elves, dark elves, orcs, and numerous other races such as dragons you'd have to fight. Sulcan didn't gain the title city of Races for nothing.
Truly Sulcan is the ultamate city.
( Ariock Pov, Sulcan city)
Opening my eyes the first thing that greeted me, as usual, is the bustling streets of Sulcan.
Races of all sorts wondered the streets, doing simple tasks like buying food from a food stall to picking up their laundry from a laundry mat.
Seeing such a thing made me smile, as back in my time racial discrimination was still a prominent concept.
Every time I think about it something always bothers me. If Sulcan existed why wasn't there anything in history about it. I've read a lot and I mean a lot of history during my time making the rebellion against the Kingdom of Light, but out all of it Sulcan wasn't mentioned anywhere.
Which wouldn't be strange if it was just a small town or settlement. Sulcan, however isn't a town it's a monster of a city, 10 times larger than average.
It's quite puzzling how a city like sulcan could just dissapear from history.
It's not worth worrying over, after all I'll probably figure it out sooner or later.
Shaking my now clear head I begin walking torwards my home.
Ten minutes later...
Once I reached my home I couldn't help but smile.
It was perfect.
From the color(which was different colorations of green) to the shape of the building it's self ( which was that of a snake with it's mouth open bowing in servitude ) it suited me perfectly.
The only thing that I could complain about would be the type of snake it was( a king cobra). The one I wanted would be to hard( and expensive) to make.
But beggars can't be choosers.
Figuring I should stop admiring my home I walked to the front door( which was a wooden door with snake engravings on it) before placing my hand on the door, the door swung open in response.
I drooled slightly as immediately I was hit with the smell of steak, mash potatos, and bacon. After I wiped away some drool a smile formed on my face, I know exactly who is cooking.
Taking off my shoes I place them besides two other pairs, one being a civilians, while the other being black high heels.
Once done I closed the door behind me and walked to the kitchen.
The inside of my home wasn't anything spectacular. Light brown wood made up the floor, while the walls were a light grey. Pictures adorned the walls most of them being of me and my family.
The one's that weren't were of my adventures, among other things. One picture was me and my father standing over a dead hydra with victorious smirks on our faces, another was of me practically shaking in excitement to see my new house.
Seeing that one made me smile, it's my favorite. My home is my safe place, my own domain, my haven.
And a damm impressive one at that.
In total there were sixteen rooms. These rooms were two bedrooms, one master bed room, 3 guest rooms, the kitchen, three bathrooms, the living room, the basement, a library, a training room, a lab, and the servants quarters. That's not even counting the hidden rooms throughout it.
Upon reaching the kitchen( which was a realitivly large one with various cooking utensils neatly stuffed in cabinets. The design of it wasn't any different than a majority of the house, a light brown wooden floor with a light grey wall. There was only one sink but three stoves all in a variety of sizes.) I couldn't help but smile at the sight befor me.
Standing at 5"10' mid twentys, a dark skin tone with long black hair and red eyes that could pierce the very heavens, along with a body most would kill for, stood a truly beautiful figure, my maid Silena
She wore at the moment a standard maid out fit, with the only change being it being black and gold instead of white and black.
While she is beautiful that's not the reason for my smile.
Currently she was humming happily a song I didn't recognize while cooking, completely oblivious to my presence.
She really needs to learn to be more observant.
While shaking my head at my clueless maid I had an idea.
Waving my hand I casted a quick invisibility spell befor sneaking right behind her, then I proceeded to poke her in the side.
Now most maids (or people in general) would have either jumped in surprise or fear, my maid however did none of the above.
Instead a sword popped into existence in her free hand (that was beforehand reaching for the pepper), and faster than the untrained eye could see attempted to cut me in half.
All I did was smirk in response and dodge the attack with ease.
Knowing I dodged (despite being invisible) slight annoyance adorned her features, clearly she didn't expect me to survive her first strike.
Letting her slash at me for a few more seconds I decided I should probably stop before she got serious, I don't know if my house could survive her and I'm not about to leave it to chance.
Dodging another attack this time aimed for my left side I knocked the blade out her hands- which shocked her by the way- before undoing the invisibility spell with a thought.
When she realized who was her "attacker" was her eyes widened and she quickly started bowing repeatedly saying sorry over and over again.
Me finding the whole.thing just amusing laughed it off saying " it was okay".
