(??? pov Night time)
On one of the many guard towers surrounding Sulcan a person stood. Clad in a dark cloak with a hood that covered there face. The figure looked to be 5"10' and had red eyes that glowed in the darkness around them.
This person stood perfectly still lost in its thoughts.
'Power, the one absolute in this world. The one idea that can create or destroy. With enough of it anything is possible.'
The figure took out a crystal and proceeded to crush it with no effort.
Then they slowly turned invisible and jumped off the tower towards the inner workings of Sulcan.
...
Yet they don't use there's to its full potential. The power they hold is so much that they could Obliterate a continent with ease, but they refuse to do so.
Once close enough to a building they quickly pull out a small button and click it.
There morals and ethics blind them from the greater picture, making them believe there above such things.
Disappearing in a flash of red they reappeared on the closest building near them.
This, is a lie. After all how do they think there land was secured in the first place? Negotiating? Like hell that's what happened.
Continuing onwards they jumped from one building to the next with practiced ease.
It was through blood, sweat, tears, and years of war that secured the land. So to say your above it is being a hypocrite.
The person stopped momentarily and listened to it's surroundings intensely.
Some, however, may say they've changed since then and times are better than they were. While it is true I would answer that question with another.
When they heard the increasingly loud chatting of what sounded like Guardsmen it hid in the shadow of a nearby building.
Why?
The figure pulled out two grey daggers that emitted a low amount of killing intent.
Why did it get better?
Once the guards were close enough the figure jumped out of the shadows.
The answer?
Then quickly dispatched the two guards with a quick and leathal slice to the neck.
They took out the competition.
All the guards could muster before darkness overcame them was a look of absolute dread, fear, and hate as they went to the afterlife.
While they maby above getting in direct conflict with anyone, they certainly won't hesitate to send dozens of assassins to kill leaders who may threaten them in the future.
Not even looking back for a second they continued whatever mission they had with a blood thirsty smile that could be seen even on the darkest of nights on there face.
Not to mention the overwhelming military might they have in all forms of war in land, air, and sea.
As I have stated before though, they will not use it.
If they were to however not even the Gods know what would happen.
This frustrates me to no end.
Power should be used to it's fullest. For good or for evil it does not matter as power does not discriminate, only those who use it do.
As such you would be persuaded to believe that they would use it for good and the joy of others right?
They don't.
Instead they hoard there power only thinking of themselves. Which would have been fine, if wasn't for a few facts.
They purposely hinder the progression of power in not only them but around the world. Because of this not only will the beings of the world never reach new heights of power, but the lack of power being spread will mean less and less people animals, etc will be ready when even the simplest of disasters happen.
Eventually it would get so bad that even goblins the weakest of the weak would progress more in strength than humanity, since they don't follow the same laws of power as others do.
In all I only have a few words for the people of Sulcan.
I will bring back the balance.
(Ariock pov 3rd person one day after he got home )
Ariock in a word was tired.
Yesterday had been tough for the young God. Between suppressing his power heavily while in a spar with his adopted father, and dealing with the trouble his 'house guest's' caused its quite a feat to be able to even stand.
After all not just anyone can deal with a full power Wallace while holding back and a pissed off Silena.
His plan for today was to lazily lay in his bed all day and only get up to get food and go to bathroom. He was off work today so he might as well relax.
Sadly his plans would not be used.
