"Wait! Don't take her."
I unfreed my hand from Robert and raced forward before any of the guards could touch her.
"It's me. I'm the girl from last night. Please don't hurt my friend." I begged Prince Kole and Sky.
And soon Robert came out from behind me and warned prince Kole in a fatherly manner.
"That's quite enough prince Kole. I'm taking the two ladies with me, just hand over the purse and settle this matter here and now." He sternly looked at the two men.
Robert gave off an incredibly powerful aura, enough to compel even prince Kole.
Prince Kole gave up without a fight at Robert's words and handed me the purse. I quickly rummage through my purse and finally relaxed by seeing my mother's ring still safe and intact.
"Before I go, I want to let you know my heart is yours." Prince Kole says and in a flash of light, I feel a cool sensation on my left cheek. I jump in surprise and meet his eyes but by then he is already halfway gone.
