Ramonns, completely lost to the corruption continues to pursue Dobram and Lapran. Swinging uncontrollably and relentlessly. Lapran, able to dodge Ramonns advances, Dobram however was getting used to moving outside of the water.
"Dobram, are you ok"? Lapran asked.
"Yea, just feels weird actually using my legs to maneuver. Just so used to swimming". He replied.
"What do you ssay to uss getting out of here, Korrin"? Prorid said. "I'm ssure thosse two can handle themsselvess. We've got our own thing going on".
As Prorid began to walk away, Korrin grabbed his arm.
"We can't just leave them in their time of need". Korrin said. "We must help them".
"Sigh. You really gotta let thiss goody two sshoess perssona go man. It'ss not very becoming". Prorid said.
The two of them charged towards Ramonns and join Lapran and Dobram. The four of them begin to tire, when a voice is heard between them all.
"Heroes of Four, you've finally gathered together". It said.
"Treha"! Lapran said excitedly. "I thought you were still on Currento"!
"My child, I am not tied down to your worldly limitations. I can travel freely as I please". She said.
She looks at Ramonns as the four battle for their lives.
"He has become corrupted by the darkness and is loss. You must destroy him before he's able to unite with Lap-min". Treha said.
"Unite? Like join"? Prorid asked.
"Yes. In doing so, he will retain the memories and skills and this poor soul". She continued.
After being informed, Lapran starts to think back to when n he and Lapran used to sword fight by the stream.
"...as if something just guides my body", echoed within Laprans mind.
"He always taught himself the moves he's done. Could it be, that he's been like this all along"? Lapran thinks.
Distracted by his revelation, Ramonns attacks Lapan.
"LOOKOUT"! Korrin screamed.
*CRASH*
Ramonns pins Lapran on some wooden crates.
"Aah"! Lapran yells out. "Get him off of me"!
The three heroes charge at Ramonns bashing him hoping to get him to release his grip.
"We're trying, he's just not letting go no matter what we do"! Dobram said.
"Treha"! Lapran yells. "Can you help us"?
"I can't physically get involved or there would be consequences". She replied.
"What about when you stopped Lap-min"? he asked "Can't you use your light beam or whatever"?
"I 'physically' didn't stop him. The beam just freezes the person in place. It has no physical attributes and will only make him freeze with you still in his grasp". She said.
Lapran, slowly losing consciousness, life begins to flash before his eyes. He remembers the good times when he played in the forest and with Lapran. Although annoying, he remembers when his brother would pop up randomly whenever they got in trouble as if he was watching him. Which made sense now that his real truth was revealed. He also remembered meeting Dobram in Currento aand stabbing Clea with his sword... Just then his eyes open up.
"My sword! Dobram, grab my sword and stab him"! He yelled.
Dobram frantically looked for Laprans sword. There's a shine in the corner of his eye. It was the sword! It was under the store owner from when they fell.
"How in the..."? Dobram thought.
As he makes a mad dash for the sword, he trips and stumbles.
"Damn these legs". he said. "Prorid, can you grab this sword and stab him"?
"But, I've never stabbed anyone"! He said.
"I would ask Korrin, but he's currently engaged and keeping Lapran alive as long as possible"! He yelled.
"...ok". Prorid replied.
He grabbed the sword struggling to lift it.
"Thiss thing weighss a ton"! He exclaimed.
"Just hold it up long enough to stab him and free Lapran"! Dobram continued to yell.
Prorid, as quick as he could, dragged the sword to where Ramonns was strangling Lapran. As best as he could raised the sword as high as he could get it, then stabbed Ramonns in the leg, but it wasn't deep enough.
"I can't do this"! He said.
Just then, Korrin quickly let Ramonns arm go, grabbing the sword and stabbing Ramonns in the arm.
"You didn't have to kill him, just loosen his grip". Korrin explained.
Lapran, now free from Ramonns grasp takes a deep breath.
*Cough, cough*
"Thanks Korrin". he said.
Ramonns then grabs the sword and removed it from his arm. He throws it down to the ground and continues to fight.
"We can't win, he's too powerful"! Prorid said.
"No, I got it". Dobram said.
"How can you help when you can barely walk"? Prorid asked.
"Easy". Dobram replied. "I don't need to walk to be able to talk you through it".
As Dobram started to tell his plan in his mind, the other three kept holding him off.
"Korrin, you just have to hold him off for exactly 1 minute. Lapran, I'll need you to grab Ramonns legs and keep him from moving after Korrin lets him go, and finally Prorid, you're going to have to suffocate him until he passes out". Dobram explained.
"Are you sure this will work"? Korrin asked.
"Yes! What other choice do we have"? he replied.
The three give a nod and begin to put Dobrams' plan in affect.
"You guys ready"? Korrin asked. "You'll only have one minute before I let him go".
Nervously, they both prepare for the upcoming attack.
"Here we go....5...4...3..."
To be continued...
