We arrived within two hours with a little help from the HyperDrive feature on the hovercar. We all got together, and we started to come up with an idea on how to get in and get the device.
First, I suggested that I blast a hole in the ceiling and distract the scientists, while the rest make their way inside, spread out, and search for the device. It was a good idea, but no one wanted me to destroy anything, so Josh came up with an idea.
His idea was for Reeve, to shrink down and crawl through the air ducts. And he sneaks in undetected, while we monitor him and direct him, "After I fly around the building to scan it so we know the flooring and mapping, and find the device on the radar." It's a good idea, which is why we went along with it, and not because Reeve came up with an idea to take the whole building with us.
So, I "Flamed on" and did the scan, but after I did the scan, there was something weird about the scan. Some strange things were surrounding the entrances and there were dozens of them. But, we didn't mind it, Reeve shrunk down to the size of a mouse and he ran into a nearby air duct. Then he yelled out how he landed on a desk inside the facility and ran toward what looked like a storage facility. He scurred as fast as he could but when he ran in front of a random door, something came up to Reeve and it was something that we didn't count on. The weird things earlier were Mother F'n robots and they come out of nowhere, the job is about to be jeopardized if we don't do something fast.
As quick thinking, Reeve grew to full size and then grew one of his hands, and smashed a couple of robots to smithereens. We hoped that they wouldn't be anymore. But it was too late, as a swarm of robots was moving in on Reeves' location and he was soon surrounded. So, in the heat of the moment, I yelled out, "Aww, F' this" and activated my Fire Mode and then burst through the wall in between Reeve and me. As a way of helping him out, I threw a barrage of fireballs at the robots and destroyed them all. The robots got toasted and Reeve was okay. But after all that, I decided to go with Reeve to back him up and look for robots with my scanner to see if robots are coming. "Now that we know what they are."
After about ten minutes of searching, we finally came across a storage room that the scanner showed had a bunch of high tech equipment inside. Reeve and I got a little jittery because I sensed body heat inside the room, which shocked me since our sensors didn't pick up anything before now. So we moved carefully, till we came up to the door, then I had Reeve shrink down and sneak underneath the door to see what was up. However, when he came back, he looked shocked and then told me that I needed to review the footage from his camera, and so I did. I rewound his camera footage to just a few seconds ago and saw what he did. It amazed me, the sheer coincidence of it all, and how it could help us out. Because, what Reeve saw was, the very same person my father saved all those years ago, the female scientist.
