I'm finally having the break, that I wanted. Dylan, in the opposite, was receiving more opportunities. These days we get to spend time shorter than the usual. We rarely see each other, but when we do, we make for the most of it. We went to Disneyland the last time.
It was one of the hilarious moments of my life. Well, maybe for him it was the worst. He hated mascots. Like he really hate them. Whenever we see a mascot, he would just make face and walk away. I really wanted to have a picture with the mascots, but with him acting like that, I couldn't even have, a single photo with the mascots. I mean they are huge, but cute. When we were in sophomore year, he used to wear the school's mascot. One time, he can't get it off. It took us hours to take it off him. I think someone did that on purpose. We used to be bullied, back then, but things happen. Look at us now. After that incident, he hated it, and never wore it again. I think he was traumatized by that experience. Since then, he can't stand seeing mascots nor being near mascots. It reminds him of that experience.
Few days after we went to Disneyland. We went hiking. Terra was sulking about it, when she saw my Instagram post. She refused talking to me for two days. She really wanted to hike and was bugging me about it. I told her; I've got no time. When I got the free time, she had work. I didn't even know that I would go hiking that time. Dylan invited me over, and he got everything packed up for us.
Today, I'm not yet sure if Dyl have his free time. I have my free time for the day. I will just go and continue to decorate my house. I did my morning routine. Warming up, exercise, breakfast, etc.
"Honey, Lia." Mom called up.
"Mom, here at the kitchen," I shouted while preparing my sandwich.
"There you are. Hey, you suddenly withdrew a lot of money from your account. I'm not here to ask where did you use it. You are old enough. I just want to make sure it is necessary and not just one of those stacked up trashes," she noted.
"Yes, Mom. I know what I'm doing. You have nothing to be worried about. But, hey... you're still checking up on my account?" Well, that sinks in my little head.
"Hey, lady. I'm still your mother. I'm just checking on it. Be mad, if I'm taking your money." She got a point, but I'm not mad at her. I'm just asking.
"Yeah. I know. Like what I've said, you got nothing to be worried about. I got this", I assured her.
"Okay, I'll just be at the garden," she said, and left the doorway.
After my morning routines, I called up to mom, and told her that I'll be leaving.
"Mom! I'll just be out for a while," I called to her.
"Hey, you've been always out lately. Is it possible that one of these days, I'll get to meet the cursed guy?" She let out the last three words laughing.
"Well unfortunately there's no cursed guy, Mom," I responded chuckling.
"Aww, when will you find your Romeo, dear? Your dad and I is not getting any younger. We still want to see our grandchildren," she jokingly said.
"Mom, I know. It's just complicated. You'll meet him someday." Damn, Malia, what did you say? Idiot.
"So, there is someone? I'm looking forward to it Lia. Don't put my hopes up." I could sense that she had her hopes. I don't want to disappoint her.
"One day, mom. I need to go now, bye", I said. I gave her a peck on her right cheek and left. I stopped by at a convenient store to buy foods, that I'll be consuming later.
As soon as I arrived in the lake, I started getting the things done. I barely let go of the tools I'm using. Hammer, drill, nails, screw, saw, and all the tools you may imagine.
I was so busy doing these works, that I didn't even notice that there was another presence in the place. As soon as I dropped the saw to take a break, someone spoke.
"Sexy..." a stranger was here with me. It took me one look to say that a freaking hot stranger is here with me.
"Sexy? Excuse me," I tried letting out the words irritatedly, but inside my brain I was like "Of course, I wouldn't be a model, if not".
"You are a profoundly hot goddess who was busy building a... house?" he said complimenting me, but his reaction when he looked at the house was price less.
"Well, you got eyes," I said.
"Um. Sorry to disturb you. I'm Trey." He walked closer to me and offered his hand.
"Malia", I said. Just then, I noticed a camera on his other hand.
"A camera?", I blurted out.
"Oh, yeah. I'm here to take pictures. Never expected, someone to be here. And I'm sorry, if you don't mind. I took some shots of you." He was kinda guilty.
"Oh, may I see," I asked him. He gave me the camera.
"Damn, you're good. These shots are amazing! Well, blood of models are running in my veins. It seems so natural." I don't know, what to say. I mean, he got skills, and I got skills, too. Well, different skills, but putting it together. His shots are way better than those of the photographers in the studio.
"So, I don't have to delete it?" he was unsure saying the words.
"Keep it. This is the most perfect shot that I have seen. I haven't seen a shot this beautiful, in my whole life being a model until now." I totally praised him.
"Model? you're kidding, right?" he said.
"Yeah, I'm a model. You don't know me? how come?" I told him.
"I was just taking this photography thing as my hobby. My subject is always in the nature. I don't really take photos of people," he said.
"So, you're here for the lake?" The lake was the real intention. Not you, Malia, don't freaking assume.
"Um. Exactly," he was fidgeting. Nervous, I guess.
"Okay. So how long have you been watching me?" I said smirking.
"Oh, not that long. I mean, I honestly don't know. I was captivated." He was nervous.
"Are you okay?" I had to check.
"Yes. Are you alone?" His eyes were checking the place around, if I am.
"Yup, just finishing my house. Do you want to help? Just kidding. But I'm alone tho" I tried joking, but it really was half meant.
"Yes, I'll be glad to help." I do want to finish this house as soon as possible.
"Thank you." I smiled at him sweetly.
We talked a little, and then went to work. When we finished he helped me in cleaning the place. After that we went to the lake, to swim.
Trey Clemeone. A gym instructor. No wonder, where he got that nice body. A part-time photographer. He used to go here to relax. An introverted man. With that body, you would think that he's a bad ass, but seriously he's like this high school nerdy guy who gets kinda awkward with people, or with the girl he likes. I mean, he is like a high school nerdy guy in a body of a sexy piece of jock.
We're just inside my house and talking about things.
"So, what was it like?" I curiously asked him.
"It was like my balls was exploding. I swear I did not talk to him for a month," I bursted out laughing that I can't breathe properly.
Just then, someone came into the doorway. Uh-oh, Dylan, and the way he looks. Shit. I tried to stop and control my laugh.
"Dyl, you're here. Meet Trey." I tried introducing them to each other.
"Yeah. Hi. Lia, we need to talk", Damn, I know he's pissed but what he did was rude.
"Uh. Okay. I'll just go now. Nice to meet you two," Trey awkwardly said.
"Nice to meet you, too, Trey. I had a great time. Thank you. See you, when I see you," I replied then, he went outside.
"You too. Bye," he said then left.
"Who the hell was that?" Dylan asked with gritted teeth.
"I just introduced him to you, right? He's Trey. And what you did back there was rude," I said referring to what happened earlier.
"I don't care. Why are you with him? Why is he here? Did you brought him here?" Multiple questions fired at once.
"He's a friend. I met him earlier. He was just here for the lake, then he saw me. We talked and that's it." I tried answering calmly.
"Get away from him," his voice was stern cold.
"Wait? What? So, I'm not allowed to have any friends?" He would not allow me to have friends? How dare him?
"You are. Just not with guys." Still with that cold voice.
"What are you being mad about? Are you jealous?" Damn. I had hit the wall hard.
"It's just that..." Now, his walls are coming down.
"Are you jealous?" I repeated it.
"The hell I am. You're mine, and what's mine is mine" A typical possessive boyfriend.
"You said it yourself. I'm yours. You've got nothing to worry about. He's just a friend. I love you, and you are the only one. Stop being so paranoid about it. Do you trust me?" Malia, don't keep up with his beat. Just calm him down.
"Of course, I trust you. but guys... I don't trust them." He hugged me, my chin resting on his shoulder.
"Don't give a damn about them. As long as we are together, I got these eyes, scratch that, this heart just for you. So please, don't mind them. Friends are just friends, nothing more. I love you, Dyl. I will always do." He didn't say a thing but I felt his hot breath against my neck. Seconds later, I felt his lips. It gave me the sudden volt, all over my body. He trailed his way to my lips. Since he had already got my weak spot, it became easy for him to do the next thing.
