She knew that the murderer had yet to clear the evidence, if the person had not done it at the crime day itself.
Sophia had planted cameras all over the house after the murderer took place. They were very small and no one would have been able to see them.
Sophia was constantly keeping an eye on this place. She didn't see any movements here.
Neither she saw anyone appear in the cameras.
It only meant two things. Either the murederer cleared the evidence in the crime day itself or the evidence was still present in the house.
She along with Alexander and four more people went to search in the west wing.
Sophia along with Alexander went to Harry's room, while the other eight searched for the other rooms like the study room, the game room, the store room etc.
Sophia when passed through the store room wondered, 'Why would a store room be here in the west wing? This place is particularly for the President to live. Store room should have been situated in the east wing.'
______
In Harry's room,
Sophia discovered nothing unusual. The room was well kept.
The bed was left untouched. The room looked very clean, except that a thin layer of dust had been accumulated in it.
Sophia had wanted to ask Ava that where were the servants, at the day of the murder?
If not because of them being missing, she would have not been accused of the murder.
There was a circle drawn where Harry was found dead.
Except that there looked nothing wrong with the room.
But Sophia being an agent knew that if there looked nothing wrong with a place, then that means something is definitely wrong with it.
She inspected the door first. She found some finger prints on it.
The police must have wore gloves while inspecting, that means there would still be fingerprints available.
After taking the fingerprint marks, she turned to check the back side of the door.
She used various special lenses for it. She had instructed the team to only light the place where they were searching and leave the rest places in dark.
The house had curtains, so that the light didn't travel outside. It was considered a benefit for them. No one would know that they were here.
Sophia found something sticky at a corner of the door.
She chuckled inwardly.
The murderer must have known that someone would check here hence he deliberately put something there.
She was an agent for God sake!
Why would she not know such petty tricks.
But now she came to know something. The murderer was trying to challenge her.
Sure enough, she started to find many clues at each corner of the room.
It was as if that person was playing with her.
A puzzle game?
She liked them though.
'Would I have to choose one.' She wondered in complete amusement.
She had finally found her opponent. But it was bad that she had to fight in skills with a killer.
Anyways she liked it though. It would bring her immense happiness if she would be able to catch that person.
'You want to play. Sure let's play.' Sophia smirked.
