"Let's go to the east wing." Sophia lead the way and the others followed.
While walking past the storage room, she secretly tried opening it without anyone noticing.
But it was locked.
'Why is it locked? Unless there's something in here. I would like to check it then.'
She continued to walk without changing her expression. She didn't want anyone calling her a thief, as a man from the group saw her fiddling with the door's handle.
She wasn't a thief but she was going to act as one soon. The ten people went to the east wing to find another ten people standing and chattering.
Jack and Mia rushed towards Sophia the moment they saw her.
"Sophia!! I found something." They spoke together.
"Hey, I saw it first." Mia argued.
"You lier. I was the one who saw it first." Jack argued back.
Thus the both started bickering, totally forgetting the reason why they had come there.
Sophia watched them with silently. She didn't stop them but asked a girl named Amelia the reason for their continuous bickering.
"Both of them found something together and are fighting over it already for half an hour; boss. We tried to stop them but they order us to stand here without moving. We are sorry boss, but we had to obey them as they are our seniors." The girl bowed down her head. She looked helpless.
"What object did they find?" Sophia asked the girl named Amelia.
"They didn't tell us boss. It must be inside one of the guest room." Amelia said while bitting on her lower lip. She was afraid as her boss Sophia now gave out a dangerous vibe. She knew that their boss was displeased. But she wasn't sure on whom she was displeased. Was it on them or their two seniors?
Amelia looked up at Sophia's face, but immediately regretted her actions. Her boss looked like an Asura from hell. She was so frightened that big fat droplets of tears started falling down her cheeks.
She knew that her boss looked damn scary when she got angry. She had faced her wrath once. So now she was so afraid that she nearly knelt down in fear.
"I..I am sorry boss. I..." She couldn't even finish her sentence as she started crying.
Sophia just looked at her coldly. While Alexander's mouth twitched looking at the girl who was half bending and half standing, while sobbing. She looked very pitiful.
"If you are going to cry like this, then get lost. You are an agent. You shouldn't let your emotions control you. This is the final warning Amelia. Even if you are afraid of me, there is no need to act this extreme. You have to become strong. If I see you crying again then don't blame me for loosing your job. And this time was not your fault. You only listened to your senior. So don't cry like a baby and go wash your face." Sophia spoke sternly.
She hated when someone acted weak in front of her. They were agents, and they had to learn and control their emotions. Otherwise the enemy may use this weakness against them.
She wanted to badly say, 'What if one day something happened to your family? Are you going to cry like this?' But she stopped herself. She knew that Amelia was a fragile girl and also knew that if she said something like that the girl would act negatively towards it.
