Fiona covered her face from the sunlight that flodded in through the white curtains of her hospital room. She nust wanted to sleep a little longer, but someone touched her hair. Her eyes flew open.
"Sorry" Cody said
"It's fine. where's mom?" she asked
"She's putting her purse in the car. We're going to leave soon" He said "but you won't be discharged until tomorrow"
"That sucks, I actually feel good today" She said
Cody ruffled her pale hair before he left. Fiona took this time to stretch her legs. she got up from her hospital bed and dragged the IV bag with her. Just down the hall she was caught by a blonde nurse.
"Fiona, you shouldn't be up yet" she said
"I just wanted to go for a walk"
"You can't, you'll work up your heart if you over do it"
She led Fiona back to her room. Pouting, Fiona sat on her bed. 'I can never do anything' she thought to herself.
Fiona has been in the hospital for about a week. It was only because of an incident that occured during her friend's birthday party.
**Flashback
"Fiona, Come on. get in the water" Gabby called from her pool
"I already told you, I don't like swimming"
"please?"
Fiona sighed, knowing that she'd just do puppy eyes until she got into the water. Once she got in, Cody and gabby started playing marco polo. When gabby had been caught, she giggled. 'when is Cody going to realize she likes him' Fiona thought as she sat on the pool edge.
She suddenly felt very cold. Hugging herself, Fiona pulled her feet from the water. The cold just got worse and was accompanied by a headache. The world was spinning, and she would've fallin into the water if Cody hadn't caught her.
"Fiona? wake up" Gabby said
"Call my mom" Cody said as he lifted her up and inside.

From then on she wasn't allowed to see gabby outside of school. 'It wasn't her fault. She didn't know I couldn't get cold' Fiona thought.
Nurse brown brought her some hospital food. It consisted of a sandwich that tasted like paper, dry salad, and juice that tasted like water. She missed her mom's cooking badly. She missed her best friend, and she hated herself for it.
'Why was I born like this? Why couldn't I just be normal?'
