"Go to the Venture League they said, there are adventures there they said. Well, at least it wasn't a lie."
Now Deaxter was on his own adventure. Alone. He sighed. He slowly got up.
(thoughts)
(Let's summarize, I am stranded on a planet. An unknown planet. The only ship that could rescue me crashed with me. Whatever the ship destroyed came from the planet, which means. It's probably powerful enough to kill all the survivors. Whatever it is.)
Deaxter noticed that he was starting to tremble again.
(Ok one by one. Now panicking is not a good idea. Let's start with the distress signal.)
Deaxter sits in front of the screen in the middle of the capsule. After a few routine entries the status window opened.
Fuel: 31%.
Energy: 100%.
Structure: 89
Emergency signal: ON
Radar: ON
Life Support Systems: ON
Manufacturer: OFF

(At least everything still works.)
Deaxter opened the radar window. It unfortunately only shows moving objects. The hole in which the capsule landed. Doesn't help either. He switched to the antennas and checked whether any signals were being received. Deaxter frowned when a "NO SIGNAL" was visible.
(Either the rock walls block all the signals, all other capsules are out of range or in worst case. No capsule survived the crash well enough to send a signal.)
Deater didn't like any of these scenarios. He decided to reopen the radar window and then devote himself to supplies. Each rescue capsule is designed for 5 people. It contains rations that can supply you for 5-10 days. Depending on how you ration it and how the water has to be used.
(I am alone so I have enough supplies for at least 1 month. 1 month where I can take care of other problems.)
There is one survival kit per person, this includes a first aid kit, a pretty big multi-tool. It's really big, so for a multi-tool at least. It can be divided into 3 separate parts. It is a folding spade, cutlery, tool box, hunting knife, axe and pickaxe in one. When folded, however, it only takes up the space of a small pan. A bracelet with ball compass, pipe, flashlight, a mechanical clock and a water filter. Spare parts for the capsule but also for general equipment such as tents, clothing, space suits and the like. A space suit and a solar panel with battery.
(Almost all of it I already wear on my body, but spare parts and more first aid equipment can't hurt.)
He decided to put on the space suit, but the sensors from the main ship said that the planet had an atmosphere where people could breathe. But now taking an unnecessary risk can be fatal.
Deaxter stared at the door as he waited for the air to be sucked out of the capsule. If he's really in a place where he can't breathe, he shouldn't be wasting the air. It took less than 2 minutes then the display changed from red to green and the door began to open. A rock-pressure air jet shot from the slit, caught Deaxter and hurled him against the opposite wall. The helmet deformed and the glass of the visor was covered by countless cracks. The impact immediately robbed him of consciousness and everything turned black.
