"Kai! You're going to be late for school!" Mum said.
"Whats the point... Not like i have any friends there anyway."I mumbled.
I got up from my bed and made my way to the closet..as usual. As you may already know, my name is Kai Katsuo and im 14 years old.My dream is to become a hero, but..... i have no powers unlike the other kids at my school.
But i wont give up. I dont care if i have any powers or not, my aspiration will always be the same.
"Have a nice day at school Kai!" My mum shouts from the other side of the road.
"See you after school" I shouted back.
I made my way to the bus stop with a smile on my face.
But then...
I saw someone i wanted to avoid my entire life, Jack, someone who has a really powerful ability called Electricity .
"Oh look who it is!! Kai the abilityless loser!"
I never asked to be born abilityless...but he doesn't understand that. "H-hello J-Jack.."
He gave me a grin and said "Oh whats with the tone? Afraid I'll beat your ass again?!?"
I thought i was about to run up to him and punch him straigh in the guts. I know he's strong and all.. but that doesnt mean he has to brag about it.
I lived through tough times in my life, but he just makes everything a complete nightmare for me.
"Im just tired"
He gave me a confused look and said "How so? You don't look tired at all to me"
Maybe because that ego of yours is covering your eyes to the point you cant see.
"well I-i am"
The next thing he said, left me in complete horror..
"Meet me on the rooftop afterschool. I have some business to settle with you."
I gulped "O-oh.. is that so..?"
I was about to fall on my knees and beg for him not to hurt me. But I stupidly said "O-oh ok then."
All the lessons went by really quick and before i knew it, it was the end of the last lesson.
"Time to face my last day on Earth..." I mumbled.
When the bell rang, I made my way up the staircase to meet with Jack.
Once i got there, I saw no one at first but then Jack appeared out of completely no where and said "Fight me Soft face. I saw you training at the school's gym! So fight me here"
I thought my world was going to collapse.
I never wanted to fight him out of all people. He's the strongest student at our school. He will turn me to ashes before i even have a chance to react. "I'm s-sorry... what was that?" I thought this was some kind of joke but then Jack just had to say "Fight me! Right here! Right now!"
I never wanted to fight him but I had no choice "O-ok.. just be sure to call an ambulance after we finish . Ok?"
Jack looked like he didnt give a damn "Yeah yeah whatever..."
Then before i knew it, he came towards me and used his Electric Powers to create a thunderstom.
"JACK STOP THAT!! THIS IS FIGHTING DIRTY! I DONT HAVE AN ABILITY AND YOU KNOW THAT!"
Jack grinned at me saying that and attacked!
"Sorry but i dont let weaklings like you tell me what to do"
Then before i knew it, he attacked...
The next morning i woke up in a hospital bed.
My body was aching. This is all his fault, i should have known thats how he fights ,dirty, and he even smiled as he made me go through hell... What kind of hero does he aspire to be?
My mum ran inside my hospital room and screamed from the top of her lungs "WHO DID THIS TO YOU!?! WHEN I WILL SEE HIM, I WILL USE MY ABILITT TO KILL THAT BASTARD!!" Yes my mum does have an ability. The ability called strengthen . She can get a little bit stronger and faster. But me on the other has none. At the age of 5, my mum told me I was born without any abilities.
So this is where I am right now, on a hospital bed next to my furious mum...
