Han XiGuang expected this was enough to scare the men. They were Chinese and Xavier must have paid them well enough just so they could maintain their silence but that was not enough to simply pay for their loyalty. It was easier for him to gouge the truth for them and he was correct as the two quickly spill out where they had seen Wu SuYi.
Han XiGuang was glad he didn't need to use his gun. It wasn't because he was afraid of of killing and taking life but because he didn't want to hug or touch Rui and Wu SuYi with his bloodied hands.
Sometimes no matter how much he had washed his hands the smell of blood and the image didn't leave his head. When compared to them who are much purer, he felt as though he had sullied them which put him in ill mood.
Sure then he prefer the idea of not having to color his had in blood or rot hurt others but that still didn't change his dangerousness.
