JingYi always found his mother's traces on SuYi, his sister. People hated her for being look alike to their mother who was shunned but ironically enough when she died after giving birth to her everyone blame the innocent baby. That's when he realized everyone just want someone to put a blame on.
JingYi was prepared to shoulder that blame but the only way for Wu SuYi to escape the house was by shouldering the blame. Even though he hated to see it, he had no choice but to watch as his sister suffer.
