FuSheng met Wu SuYi again and it was during the winter party, celebrating HaoRan's birthday which was in December. This time, Wu SuYi wasn't crying or hiding away. Instead, she sat down at the lone corner of the room while her brothers and father stood at the brightest place in the party hall. FuSheng knew everyone's eyes would trail the the people celebrating the birthday but for some reason, he couldn't tear his gaze away from Wu SuYi, always staring back at her even as his parents tug him to wish happy birthday to the snobby HaoRan.
As it was their turn to say happy birthday, his parents didn't forget to praise Senior Mr. Wu. Wu HaoRan who was tired how everyone flatted his father instead of wishing him happy birthday trailed his eyes to FuSheng. He frowned noticing how the boy's eyes lingered at Wu SuYi.
"Why are you looking at my sister?" HaoRan demanded for an answer but FuSheng stayed silent. "Hey I'm talking to you."
