Chapter 36 - Decree to the Warriors

The pressure people felt was of something else entirely. They could feel Damien in a part of their being that they couldn't understand. A weird sensation that passed through their bodies yet physical they were fine. It was a cool night but everyone who was extremely sensitive to spirit energy began vomit. A few even passed out the moment the energy pass through them. The rest simply perspired and were out of breath some.

There were some in the crowd that were content with the old way of living and needed more time to come around mainly the older men and women of the crowd. Yet some stayed and the elderly man was surprisingly one of the men that passed out. The other two were a teenage boy and middle aged female that reminded him of a blond haired Selene. Deep down Damien flinched and he knew Allen would hate him further. Yet, he still would not look at him and turned all of his sense away from the people he trusted behind him. He could not loos at any of them after his action. Damien once again went against Allen's words and imparted spirit energy into the entire crowd to help his cause. Yet, they had no idea what was coming. Damien had to be cold to get them prepared for what to come.

The more seasoned fighter and warriors among the groups noticed a difference. Damien used the excuse to go to the cultivation chamber to get further away from his shame. The shame of know a friend was right yet very wrong at the same time. Morally he was right. Human moral. Damien could not think like a human when he was up against the cosmos. Damien wanted to oversee the warriors to the cultivation chambers he wanted to begin martial training. That was his next point of growth. He had very little combat experience. Damien knew from earth what martial arts could do. This would be that same thing except on godly steroids.

Everyone in the court yard had been assigned a D-cube and skill book. They would be delivered to every house hold in the coming days. Delivery trucks and men and women assigned to deliver packages for coin. Trade and commerce will explode in the coming year. He would leave that up to the people. He could only give them the tools and how to use them. What they do with that will be up to them mostly. I'll have a pretty effective patrol force. Hopefully with cultivators and powerful mages. Damien had a massive plane but that would require a massive amounts of strength.

Damien waited for the excited and chattering crowd to finally calm down. It was impossible for them to stay calm after having a godly object brought to their door step. Frankly, the population was already overwhelmed before. Now they felt like newborn babies. Previously that had evens that heatd their foods at anytime in seconds. Metal machines that cleaned their clothes. Frozen boxed that you can keep food fresh for days. Beds and seats with comforts fit for a king. Yet he then presents them with the D-cube that could literally turn any one of then into merchants. They produced a wide variety of items but complex items and certain skill blocks had a cost of coin to obtain. Damien would not reset the current market as of yet until he establishes a worldwide network for logistics and finance.

Even as a god Damien can get lost in his thoughts. He had guides get a tally on all who wanted to be cultivators and not mages. Damien made sure that he told them current mages cannot learn cultivation. Even though that's not true, hes not sure they would survive it. Plus, he needed core cultivators. He needed to find out more about this immortal universe they discovered. The system was truely wonderous. Even a god has to refer to a system. Damien knew he was a god in name only. He was terrified of his own power. He couldn't even fully throw a punch without taking out 1/10 of his city. Damien had been very careful note to make careless movements. Damien gave one final message before the crowd dispersed.

"By royal decree from the king, all who wants to be cultivators and have not began the path of the come to the palace steps. All children will be tested as cultivators on this day also. You will form and live in the sect. Once there you will not want to leave it is not that you will have to. The Immortal Mage Sect will begin with us."

Damien knew that he would have no shortages of mages and in this land mages became so over time and there are probably hundreds of melons of mages on the planet. Yet, the number of cultivators are only limited to Damien city. All of the warrior in the crowd somehow knew that they needed to go with Damien, that they HAD to. They all felt like this new energy is what they had been missing in their entire lives as warriors. This was especially so for the three that had now recovered and the vomiting men and women. The young man in particular was still recover and also he already had an aura surrounding him as normal young teen. He was the reason Damien had included kids in the selection. They all felt the tug even harder when the found they could follow a path dedicated to the warrior.

The number of people was no small amount and Damien had to open the palace doors to let all of the people climb to the top of the stairs. As he waited he could over hear the conversations about him. About if they would still be able to get their D-Cube in the sect. They also wondered what a sect was. They were warriors an knightly system how could these so called masters teach them more. When everyone was gathered, with a thought each person was teleported into the center of the sect courtyard. Damien was looking at a Massive ancient Chinese architecture looking palace. The last time Damien was here it was only a building but now their was a small city. This must be a Dimensional space that expands with its population, Damien thought. He could now see the runes in the distance with his powerful eyesight on the edge of the dimension.

Upon their arrival, a sudden massive pressure and killing intent surged towards the group. The armed ones in the group tried to unsheathed their weapons only to be locked in place by this mysterious force. What shocked Damien was that he was affected as well. He truly could not move.

"Hello I am sect master Xu. Behind me are the 10 elders of the sect. You will all be their disciples from this day foward. Cultivation the eternal strengthening of the mind body and spirit though martial prowess. The path of cultivator is as different as the grains of sands in a desert. Everything that you think you know about the art of war and combat is useless here. You will be retaught on the path to cultivation. By perfectly mastering the mind, body, and soul can bring a mortal into the realms of the immortals. Here is a examination stone that will glow and show the current rank and potential blood line."

"Once you are finished groups will be sent to a cultivation chamber to begin their training. First and one of the hardest part of early cultivation is the art of meditation. Yet, based on the potential, will determine the type of chamber you will enter first. The Higher the starting body rank, the larger the meridians and the smoother breakthroughs will be. Bottlenecks will be less frequent. The old man continued."

"We must first examine each of your starting potential. Based on how well you do, each elder will select a disciple. " The old man stuck his hand into a space in his dimentional ring and took out a full cube. He rose a pedestal out of the ground and he place the cube on it. Damien hadn't seen any mana particles but he could see spirit energy surround the sect master.

"Now who will go first? The old man said in his baritone voice."

Damien looked for the three he was curious about and pointed them out.

"You, you, and you step foward."

"Yes my king." They all said in unison. The woman went first. She was very beautiful in a plain looking way. Yet she had smooth features and a curvy slim figure. He was dressed in a plain blue dress with her hair in a braid down her back. She reached out and touched the cube.

It began to glow golden and the words full 'Rebirthing Pheonix' blood line, then a number '4' and a dimly lit glowing cube had a brown light to it. She was then lead away by the minor sect disciples of the elder. Next, was the old man he had a simple black cotton shirt on and brown trousers and sandals. He was balding at the top of his head and the hair of the sid if his head was all grey. Even though he looked frail he had careful step like a veteran warrior. He was very frail looking yet the old man and the sect master nodded at each other and smiled. The old man reached out his hand to touch the cube. Full 'Thunder Tiger King' bloodline, and a 4 bright colored '4' showed brown. He was then lead away by an different elder servant or disciple. Last was the black haired young teen. He hd calused hands and scrmars on his arms and back. He was fairly tall and looked to be around 14 or 15 years of age. He wore simple shirt and trousers and plain worn shoes. He stepped up and touched the cube. It showed Full 'Elder Icebane Dragon' bloodlone and the cube glowed a dull orange showing a '5'.

All of thr elders were shocked at the result. In cultivation circles a fully unlocked bloodline in a human was a once in a million years occasions and they has three disciples.

Next Damien walked up and tried the cube. It read 'Child of chaos' bloodline and the number is a white '-' for his rank.

"I will take the king as my disciple. The rest of you get tested and begin on teaching yourselves the art of meditation."

"I think I have that covered."

Damien channeled from his Grey core and willed 120,000 skill books on meditation, sensing meridians and forming them into a spiritual.

"Follow me my king." The sect master lead Damien inside if the palace. Damien wondered on what having a bloodline meant to him being a god. He would have questions for the sect master later. For now Damien quietly followed the man, not knowing what to expect next.
