"Babe, we need to stop," Cian said as we were both gasping for air. Yet his eyes were still on fire.
"It is time to go back to the house or I would not able to control myself anytime now" he whispered.
"Then don't Cian," I said, shushing his absurd thoughts away.
He closed his eyes, equally mad as if I was so close to breaking off his control.
"Elle, don't torture me, baby. Come on let's get you up" he said exasperated.
He easily carried me in bridal style and he walked us back to the mansion. He didn't even listen to what I needed to say, his ears were completely closed for me.
The party had long ended, the maids were doing the aftercare and abruptly stop upon seeing us in mid-fight. They looked at us with headed eyes as if they were looking at some romantic movie. Young love.
I stared at Cian. He is mad and serious, yet he is still oozing hot. And it didn't even help in my sanity as how his sexy adam's apple moved with his every swallow.
"Don't Elle, just don't" he said as if he knew what I was about to do. I frowned once more and kept my hands back, trying my best not to touch his perfectly sculpted jaws and more.
We were able to reach my room and with his long strides was able to settle me down in front of my door.
"You can go inside. I know you'd let me go with you but I insist not to... and it is not a request Elle," he said and remained serious which is unlike him because he looks like his older brother and it shouldn't be.
I couldn't count the times Cian made me frown this night.
"You are so uptight right now Cian" I commented in annoyance. Annoyed that Cian is so eager to keep me away.
I am annoyed that here I am thinking about his older brother again. But most importantly, annoyed me too for being so overdramatic.
"Yes, Yes I am" he answered in low voice.
"But not tomorrow. So go get some sleep tonight and we will talk once you are sober" he continued with a stoic face trying not to smile which made me chuckle.
His ears were slowly turning red and I know he was shy with what he said. My very own Cian. I tiptoed to give him a quick kiss. He is just too cute.
"Goodbye, handsome, I look forward to tomorrow" then I went inside my room feeling giddy and lightheaded.
I closed the door and after some moment heard his footsteps away. I opened a small gap on my door to look at him slowly walking his way down.
I smiled and went outside the room when Cian's figure was finally out on the stairs. I gathered my dress, removing my stilettos so I won't make any sound, tossing the poor footwear inside the room before I tried catching up.
I needed to see him off.
I tiptoed myself in the hallways and down the stairs. But then, the door from my father's library flipped open and emerged there was my very own Dad who was still in his business suit and seriously talking on the phone.
Out of shock, I immediately hid in the corner covering my mouth to avoid making any noise.
My head popped into the wall and looked at him who was walking down the stairs.
My brows furrowed. Where is he going?
"Yes, you do as I say. There will be casualties... I know"
The talk went on until it was inaudible enough. My curious mind started working and is itching to know Dad's whereabouts this time. Casualties?
Something is off. Are there some problems again at the office?
I looked at the grand clock beside me, it is already past 9 in the evening and who could Dad be talking to. I mean, I never heard him in such a serious tone. And whenever I say never, I mean in my whole 18 years of existence.
Well, there were times I tried eavesdropping about his whereabouts, especially with business matters. But I never heard of him this serious and cold.
I gathered my dress again and walked down the stairs but the library door opened again and I came across the man I was so nervous about and hoped not to bump into.
Great! The odds are in my favor. Note the sarcasm.
I gulped and the thought of spying on Dad was now out of my mind. It was already in chaos as the cold and serious face of Pierre Monteblanco was already in front of me.
"H-Hey", I greeted him, laughing nervously as he walked his way to me. I was slowly moving back as if I was a kitten afraid of the lion.
"Hey," he answered. His eyes were staring at my body openly and even have the decency to lick his lips, yet the act suddenly made me thirsty.
And I know this demi-god perfectly knew how to quench that thirst.
"I could easily smell your fear Justine" his voice roared in the lowest tone possible, sending chills all over my body.
Fear? No, this is not fear. I am not afraid of anyone. And besides, he is Cian's older brother and he is in my territory.
I immediately step back yet all I could feel was the glass wall behind me. I opened the glass wall in one hand and went out the veranda.
Pierre took a step forward and we are both out in the open. I didn't mind the cold breeze, Pierre's presence was even colder.
"What do you want?" I asked bravely. His lips formed into a smile and it looked so good on him.
A smile could do wonders especially when Pierre wears it.
"Hmm, I think it is you that wanted something. You wouldn't be out of here if you don't"
He pulled a chair and sit on it like a regal man. His movements speak of confidence and nobody could deny how it added to his appeal.
I bit my lips, they said that curiosity kills the cat but what Pierre said is intriguing the hell out of me. I can't just let it go.
"What do you mean by that? Is it about Dad?" I fired away. He was just with my father in his study room, so maybe he knows something.
He chuckled, obviously having fun of my situation.
"Now I smell a very curious kitten. Well, what could you offer for a piece of information Milady?" He massaged his jaw while looking at me with adoration in his eyes. Yet I knew better, it is an obvious look at someone who is just playing around in a serious situation.
If I can call it one.
And Milady? Why does it sound so sexual?
"Time is ticking, I don't have to grace you with my presence that much" then he crossed his legs and looked at me impatiently.
I can almost choke him right now. This man is arrogant and I don't like him a bit. To hell for him being my boyfriend's brother!
He is so entitled and a total asshole! And to add on... a pervert!
"Then just l-leave" And for Pete's sake, why did I stutter?
"Now don't get mad at me Milady, we can suffice that curiosity of yours," he said in a menacing voice. I know it was a trap but he knew I am ready to get the bait. Whatever it is.
"What is it?" I asked attentively. This man had caught my whole attention now. And I needed answers.
I waited for him to speak up. He raised his brows to my anticipation and it irked me yet I was already consumed with knowing what is all the commotion about.
"It---
He suddenly stopped when his phone rang. I rolled my eyes. Great timing!
He took it out from his suit and I slouched my back on the railings waiting for him to finish up. While doing so, I had a chance to get a good look at Cian's older brother.
He was indeed tall, I think taller than Cian. His facial features were stronger and defined, unlike Cian's soft ones. His body, well for a grown man like him, was well maintained. A built which perfectly fits him. Not too muscled, just the right amount of---
"Done checking me out, milady?"
My eyes immediately went back to his face and I saw him smirking.
"How was I?" He mocked. My cheeks heated up.
"I wasn't looking at you Mister, I was... was just waiting for you to get off of your phone so you can tell me the details I wanted to know" I explained defensively. He chuckled for a bit then went serious this time.
How can a person change persona that fast?
"Well, it is just really something petty. Your Dad will have some important thing to do tonight and he asked me to be here for you" he said and raised his head and stared behind me.
I raised my brows. Unbelievable.
"So what are you? A baby sitter" I laughed sarcastically.
"I didn't know a CEO of a multi corp is also taking that kind of job" I continued. It was hilarious.
He didn't budge. His black-toned eyes were blunt and vague. I don't know if he is just joking or was he being serious.
"Well, I am a capable man milady," he whispered enough for me to hear and stood from his chair. I thought he was gonna attack me for insulting him, yet he slowly took a step and I gulped.
"I-I don't know why Dad had to do it but you can leave this mansion Mr. Monteblanco, I am perfectly fine alone here"
He nodded and removed his coat which fell on the floor. He loosened his tie and was looking at me like a predator to his prey. He was... Hades.
"Come here" he ordered in a low voice which sent shivers all over my body. I glanced at my back but he held my chin.
Then, a soft slow music from his phone played, it was my... Amy beach. The performance I did a while ago. Did he record it?
But why?
"I need to put you to sleep, milady. It's past your bedtime"
He moved closer to me and all I could do was be scared. Not scared of him.
Scared of a certain feeling he is trying to awaken from me. I can't even name it and it scares the hell out of me that this man is able to do it.
"Let's go", he extended his arms and I wasn't able to protest as he easily pulled me close to him.
"Let's get you to your room Justine" he whispered right through my ear as we danced our way out the veranda.
"Are we dancing?" I whispered, staring closely at those eyes of his.
Seriously?!, Am I really asking an obvious question? God, Justine what is wrong with you? Push him.
But my mind is in turmoil. The touch of our hands was enough to put me into a spell. And all I could now is obey him and follow his lead.
"Yes, we are," He answered then caught my arm putting it around his neck while pulling my waist closer to him.
My eyes widened as I felt a hard thing poking me down there. It made my sèx clench and a sudden heat went up to my body.
I never glanced away so I saw how he smirked at my reaction, lowering his head to mine until his nose touched mine and I could feel his breath fanning over me.
"Don't give me that look. This is just a dance" He said and let me go.
I was shaking. My heart was even a hundred times beating faster than usual. I looked at Pierre's figure as he closed the door from our balcony, fixing the curtain while dimming the lights in the hallway.
Yet my senses were too active that I can perfectly see the veins on his arms as he flex them and how his Adam's apple moved as if it was teasing me. Even his moist lips were inviting me for some taste.
"G-Go Away!" I screamed and ran to my room.
No, I am not admiring that man. Not in this lifetime.
