Dan was again staring at her. It was the break period and as usual she was again chasing someone . He had never approached her so he didn't knew why she was always chasing someone or the other. However only a few. times could he see an angry look on her face. She was always smiling while chasing the other person Maybe she had fun doing so.
" Hey! Why are you again staring at Sarah?" asked Ken. Ken used to sit beside Dan and slowly they had become best friends.
" I don't know. I just like to look at her. She seems so interesting to me," answered Dan.
" Then why don't you talk to her?"
" I'm scared to talk to her. I feel like if I hurt her a single time then she will never talk to me again. Remember what she did to Gabe just because he misunderstood her and accused her of stealing his geometry box," said Dan.
Gabe became Sarah's best friend when she first entered their school ' Garden Heights Academy' in the third grade. He was the class topper and was the centre of attention of the whole class. Sarah also proved herself to be a brilliant student. It was back in fifth grade when she snatched away the position of the class topper from him. Then one day Gabe complained to the teacher that his geometry box in which he had kept some important pieces of paper required for a 50 marks project had been stolen. After searching everybody's bag the box was found inside Sarah's bag. Sarah tried to prove her innocence by saying that she had not done anything but no one believed her. Rumours spread out that Sarah did all that so that Gabe would get less marks in the project. Later it was discovered that someone else had put the box inside Sarah's bag to frame her as the culprit. Then rumors spread that when Gabe went to Sarah to apologise to her for his misunderstanding she had slapped him because he had not trusted her in the beginning. When Sarah was asked about it she said she had really done so. From that day they never spoke a word to each other again.
" That was a really troublesome fight but I still think that you should give her a chance," said Ken.
Dan was going to say something when Sarah accidentally hit him hard on the face.
