Certainly, this figure belonged to a lady he knew. Apart from her smooth oval face, pointed nose and small lips, she also had a fair skin with long black hair which extends down all the way to her perky butt. Too bad Jack wasn't here to admire the assets of this beautiful figure as he asked with a curious tone "landlady, what are you sneaking around for...?"

For some unknown reason, the night sky was nothing like it used to be, the dark gloomy clouds caused by excess air pollution and chemical fumes where nowhere to be found. Instead, myriads upon myriads of stars covered the entire sky with a bright round moon at the center.

The military personnels stood outside for a couple of minutes smoking and discussing about a few things before leaving the compound. Jack who had tried his possible best to eavesdrop on what they were discussing about was only able to hear a single catch phrase "operation slam dunk"
Waiting a few more minutes to confirm that they had truly left, the duo finally exited the tool shed. While the beautiful landlady face was flushed red because of what had just happened, Jack was sworn to take on 5 goblins at once rather than go through what he just did again. Quickly saying goodbye to his landlady, Jack hurriedly fled the scene.
Stepping into the apartment building at last, Jack quickly made his way to his room only to arrived at an unexpected scene. The room which he had spent over a quarter of his life saving had been swept clean. Furnitures, household appliances even his clothes.... Nothing was left in the room causing it to seem as if a flood ah swept through it.
"Ah" the beautiful landlady who once again caught sight of jack while making her way to the stairs and decided to check on him became startled the very moment her eyes landed on the empty room.
Staring at the empty room and back at Jack who now stood rooted on spot lost in thoughts caused her to feel a little sympathy for him as she knew all about his background and his current financial crisis. "sorry about what just happened, you can spend the night at my place if you have no where else to go"
"Sure, thanks" Jack who still trying to figure out his next move answered absent mindedly. It was only a couple of seconds later did it sink down to both of them what she had just said and how he had already agreed to it.
Instantly, they both regretted their decisions, while one felt that she had allowed her sympathy for him to get the best of her causing her to offer what she shouldn't have, the other felt the he should have paid more attention to his surrounding and stop spacing out to avoid future complications.
Although Jack wanted to take back what he had just said, he didn't dare to as he knew he had nowhere else to go meanwhile the beautiful landlady felt that if she really takes back her word, she will hurt him more than the thieves who had broken into his room and raided it.
Together both parties refusing to say a thing to each other made their way up the stairs in an awkward silence. Fortunately, such a silence didn't last for long as they finally arrived at the 6th floor of the building after only a few minutes of climbing.
