"You're back but you didn't even tell us!" Xyrin's mother scolded her.
She hasn't changed a bit. She still carries that subtle sophistication and gentleness. And she missed her, especially her alluring voice and her warm embrace.
"And if it weren't for Alex, I wouldn't have known until now. Were you even planning to show yourself to us?"
She looked at his father while still embracing her mother. He still has that authority that might terrify those who will go against him. For her, he might be strict but his loving embrace and gentle words show how much he loves her and her mom.
"Mom, Dad, I didn't know what that person told you but I'm telling you, I was planning to surprise you, that's why I stayed at Jiayi's place for a while. Who would have thought that he would tell you about it? He totally ruined everything!"
"That person? Did I hear it correctly? You have to be considerate towards his feelings. He endured so much for you already." His father said and for a moment, she questioned whether Liam is the real child of the Zhang and not her.
"Mom, how's that…" She was about to ask if that's even possible but then she remembered what Liam told her.
