"You have let a man you barely know enter into your house and bathe," he said.
Feeling somewhat insulted by his words, Oh Miyeon clenched her hand into a tight fist, and forcing out a smile on her face in order not appear menacing in front of her boss, she maintained on a friendly expression.
"I apologise for having lack of awareness. However, I do not consider my source of money as a man, and secondly, the walls of my apartment are quite thin," she spoke out, "Plus I am sure that you are not that lowly. I apologise if my words managed to offend you."
"You don't consider me to be a man?" Soobin asked, raising one of his eyebrows.
There were nothing particularly wrong with that sentence in her opinion, but since the other person was Min Soobin— who was practically worshipped by girls and had them throw themselves over him— this words could be quite humiliating.
"Don't get me wrong, Mr. Min. You are very much attractive, and I would have been all over you like your fans if you were not my boss. That came out wrong, but I hope you get the meaning.
I am someone who values professionalism, so it is utterly impossible for me to think of you in that way. That's all," she spoke out, praying that Soobin understood the meaning behind her words and won't misunderstand anything.
Explaining something to him was quite difficult and nerve-wracking under that gaze of his.
"You did not have to go to such lengths in explaining it to me. It's merely that you should not let someone easily enter in your apartment even if that person is your boss and brought you your bag under heavy rain," he stated.
"So, you are indirectly saying to me that I should have left you outside and let you potentially get in an accident? Since you're my source of money, I can't let that happen to you.
Just consider this to be me adulating you," she stated, "Let's just look past this, Mr. Min, and I thank you for your concern. I understand what you are trying to say. But don't worry. I have thought through before letting you in."
Oh Miyeon was not exactly lying. If it was some other man, she would not have definitely let him enter into her apartment. However, it was Min Soobin, and it was quite foolish for her to think that he had such intentions at her.
Before Soobin was able to continue, the sound of the door unlocking was heard, and as the door was pushed open, a figure stepped into the room.
A loud voice resonated through the room.
"Oh Miyeon, let's have fried chicken and beer. I was desperately craving for them yesterday, so I just brought it now! You did not miss me, right!" Minjae exclaimed, closing the door behind him.
Hearing his voice, Oh Miyeon's eyes widened while she turned his head to face the man. In both of his hands, he held two bags.
"What is he doing at here?" Minjae asked.
