"Minjae-ah," Miyeon enunciated, staring at the man with widened eyes.
"Wow! Min Soobin, he was the last person I expected to see at here," Minjae stated, walking further into the room.
After placing the bags on top of the couch, he took couple of steps forward and scanned Min Soobin from top to bottom.
"Mr. Min brought me back my bag, and since it was raining, I told him to stay at here. That's all," Miyeon vocalised, "So, take care of that mouth of yours properly."
Lee Minjae did not notice the threatening gaze Miyeon shot him at that moment, and seeing that, a smirk formed on Minjae's. Noticing that, an ominous feeling went through Miyeon.
"Oh! I have never expected to see such cheap clothing upon you. Could it be that—"
Before Lee Minjae was able to continue further, Miyeon raised her hand and placed her palm against his mouth, preventing him from speaking further.
Then, turning to look at Soobin, she forced out a smile on her face and said, "Mr. Min, you can sit over the couch there and watch the television if you would like. I have some matters to discuss on with Minjae, so I would not be able to entertain you."
"Carry on," Soobin voiced out.
After a grateful smile towards him, Miyeon shot Minjae a glare before gripping his wrist and pulling him towards her bedroom. Minjae did not show much opposition to it and followed behind her obediently.
Opening the door to her bedroom, she slammed it close after entering in with Minjae and pushed his back against her door. Standing before him, she stared at him sternly.
"Lee Minjae, control your mouth," she spoke out, "Actually, something better than that would be locking you up in this room until Min Soobin leaves."
"Aren't you being too harsh to me? You can't lock me up at here. What if that Min Soobin holds some impure intentions towards you? How can you even invite him at your apartment so easily?" he stated.
"Simple. He is not like you; he doesn't go after any girl he sees and tries to get them on his bed. If I can let someone like you enter, why can't I let him?" Oh Miyeon raised one of her eyebrows.
"Oh Miyeon, are you putting me at the same boat as him?" he asked.
"Aren't you? I did not have any contact with you for many years, and although I knew you more or less back then, I barely know anything about you now. What's the difference between you and Min Soobin?" Miyeon spoke out.
Oh Miyeon's eyes widened when she noticed the hurt that flashed through his eyes and realized she had said something wrong— although she could not exactly pinpoint what it was.
However, that disappeared from his eyes immediately— making her wonder whether or not what she saw was merely her imagination— and wearing a teasing expression upon his face, he leaned his face closer to hers.
He then asked, "Aren't you being too protective over Min Soobin?"
