The scent of cologne invaded her nostrils while her face collided into something hard, and as she was about to fall back due to the impact, a hand prevented that from happening.
Raising her head, Oh Miyeon glanced at the person, and seeing the familiar stoic man stand before her, her eyes widened due to the surprise.
She then enunciated, "Oh! Mr. Min Soobin."
"Soobin Hyung, is this your fling?"
"Miyeon, are you alright?" Lee Minjae questioned.
Hearing both of those voices simultaneously, Oh Miyeon's eyes widened, and she instantly jumped back.
Bowing at Min Soobin, she voiced out, "I am sorry; I am really—"
Before she was able to continue with her words, she heard footsteps getting closer to her, and a hand raised her face. Oh Miyeon's eyes then met with a pair of dark brown eyes, which held a certain amount of glint to them.
The owner of those eyes— a man who appeared to be in early twenties— voiced out, "Hyung could have avoided you, but he did not. What is your relation with Hyung?"
Before Miyeon was able to form an answer, Lee Minjae stepped forward and slapped that hand away from Miyeon. Staring fiercely at the man, Minjae possessively held on to Miyeon.
Turning her head back to stare at Minjae, Miyeon— in a low voice— asked, "What are you doing?"
Paying no attention to those words from Miyeon, Minjae vocalised, "Look, whoever you are, Yeonnie has no connection with that Soobin. It's just that Min Soobin is pestering her, and she is trying to avoid him. Don't attempt to assume anything else."
Those words from Minjae caused her eyes to dilate, and noticing the cold look at Soobin's eyes— although that was an usual— she was afraid that something bad will be happening.
Stomping on Minjae's feet harshly, she caused him to loosen his grip on her, and glaring at him, she— through her gritted teeth— spoke out, "Lee Minjae, do you want to die that badly?"
Lee Minjae merely shrugged his shoulders.
Then, looking at Min Soobin, she forced out a wide smile on her face and said, "Don't mind Minjae's words. He had too much to drink today, and that's why, he was saying some nonsense. I apologise on his behalf."
"Changmin was rude to you as well; he can be immature at times. I am sorry," Soobin spoke out, bowing his head slightly.
Seeing that Min Soobin had bowed at her, she blinked her eyes three times in order to process the situation. She never expected for him to bow at her. Although it was right in this situation, she thought that he was too prideful for that. Maybe she had just misjudged him.
"Hey, Hyung! How can you say that!? I was really, really curious. Other than Chaeyeon Noona, you don't allow other woman to get close to you! Do you actually have something going on?" Changmin vocalised.
Finding the situation before her to be quite awkward, Miyeon stated, "Then, I will be leaving. Have a pleasant time at here."
