3 people came out of the woods.
"It seems like we hit the jackpot boys!"
The tallest one said. He had red hair and green eyes. Wearing a blue clothing with short sleeves. A sheath containing a sword seems to be visible tied to his back. It was clear to Sachi and Sage that this was the leader of the team.
"Yeah boss!"
The next one said. His hair was red and he had red eyes. He was a man with no beard wearing the same blue clothing as the first one had. He brought a backpack on his back. It seems to be full of knives since some of them had pierced the backpack. He also carried one knife in his hand.
"..."
The third one seems to be silent. He had blonde hair and black eyes. He had the same clothing as the others did, but he also wore an eye mask for some reason. He was not tall and not short, medium sized. He didn't bring any weapons though, so he was no threat.
"Ah, and who would you guys be young men?"
Sage asked them politely.
"Screw the introductions! We just want your weapon!"
The red haired one said to Sage.
Sage held his hand in the direction of the 3 men. A sudden purple ring appeared around sage. It expanded. The aura went through everyone. The red haired man was utterly confused by the aura.
"Wh- What the heck did you just do?"
"It seems I don't need to know your name. I already know it."
The three men were surprised. Sachi, who was behind Sage, was also surprised.
"What? What in the world are you talking about?"
"Yes.... Rob the tall, Shyun the short, and Keien the smart. I already know you."
They stepped back in confusion. How did Sage do that? That should've been impossible unless Sage knows everything. But what are the chances that Sage knows every human's name on Xoshieria?
Sachi was amazed at his knowledge. But it was no knowledge.
"That was magic."
Sage stepped towards the men.
"So, what's your business being in this place? It seems you were chasing Sachi."
Rob stepped forward holding taking the sword out.
"Well we were just about to kidnap that child but since you're here, we need your weapon."
A weapon? What's a weapon? Sage never told me he had any "Weapons". But have I heard that somewhere before? Sounds familiar.
"Ah yes, my weapon. I am willing to lend my weapon to anyone. But for them to borrow my weapon, they must fight me first. Shall I be beaten, you shall obtain my weapon."
"Fair enough"
Sage walked over to a nearby tree and took a branch. The moment the branch was touched by Sage, the branch turned into a wooden sword. It was dull, no sharp edges. Sachi was totally amazed by Sage's "trick"
"Sage, Is that also magic?"
Sage walked towards Rob and took a battle stance.
"I'll let you do the first move."
Rob instantly ran towards Sage and slashed his sharp sword at him. Sage blocks and deflects the attack. Keien and Shyun joined Rob.
Shyun threw a knife at Sage but he dodged the flying knife. Keien on the other hand, was just standing there. But Sage knew, no one would just stand in a battle. Rob held the sword with two hands. Rob's sword glowed green. He slashed it at Sage.
It was a hit! The sword hit Sage's hand. But..... nothing...
Sage's hand was fine. There doesn't seem to be a burn either. It seems like the attack was ineffective.
"Imposible!"
Rob exclaimed.
"That should've burnt your hand! The slash should've also sliced your hand!"
"How weak. You should've trained before this fight!"
Sage said in disgust. His dull wood sword glowed red. He pulled the sword and pointed the tip of it at the 3 men. The glowing sword suddenly blasted the air at the direction it was pointing at. Rob and Shyun was blasted and knocked back. Shyun's backpack was blown back, dropping all the knives in it. Rob's sword was knocked out of his hand.
Keien was not affected by the blast.
"How interesting! And what abilities do you have other than Blast Protect?"
Keien stepped forward.
"It seems you know one of my ability. Then it's better to show off than not right?"
Keien's hand glowed bright yellow. He suddenly moved at the speed of light. Yellow sparks seem to be collected in his fist. He hardened his fist and appeared before Sage.
"Woahkay!"
Keien thrust his hand through the air targetting Sage's head. It was faster than a blink could ever see. It was so quick that Sachi, Rob, and Shyun didn't even see the punch.
Sage fortunately evaded the attack. It was just an inch from his face. The punch blasted the air and the ground behind Sage. The dust blasted by the air covered everyone's sight.
"I see, interesting move you got there."
Sage then slashed his sword to his front. He blew the air in front of him so he could see.
Sage suddenly got a punch from the back. He was knocked to the front
"It seems.... you have Enhanced Eyesight too"
"And that is how you loose Mr. 'Sage'"
Keien was right behind him. He grabbed Sage's head and held it in a killing position.
".... It seems.... I have lost..."
Sage felt death.
Meanwhile, 2 minutes ago, while Sage was fighting Sachi tried to find Sage. She just wandered around like a lost child. Then she discovered something. It seems like 5 leaves were following her.
Wh- stop following me! Its annoying.
Sachi then tried to stop the leaves by pointing at the leaves. The leaves all got out of the way.
Wait...
She pointed up but this time, with the intention of covering the top of her head. The leaves followed her instructions and flew above her.
What... what is this? It's... It's interesting
Sachi then tried to make a small wind to clear the dust. She tried... but she failed to do so. It were only 5 leaves. Then she tried to take the leaves from the trees. Some leaves followed her instruction.
At this point, there were about 30 leaves flying around her. Then she held her hand up, with the intention of creating of a wind.
The leaves started to fly around her. Every second the speed of all the leaves increased. Until at last, the leaves created a small whirlwind. The dust cleared around her.
Sachi saw Sage's defeat. Keien was about to do another glowing punch on Sage. Sachi suddenly felt knowledge in her minds. She quickly instruct the leaves to create a small shield. The shield it made was very small. It was as small as an apple. But then, she knew something
"Harden!"
The leaves hardened. It was as hard as solid metal. Keien, who was targetting Sage, punched the shield instead. The shield withstood the punch. The air blew the dust away from the fight.
Woah! I can do that? How did I do that? I want to do that again but... I'm... so.... tired...
Sachi flopped down on the ground and turned unconscious. The leaf shield turned back to normal leaves and floated down to the ground.
Meanwhile, Keien was utterly confused. Clearly that punch was strong, it should've burst through the shield! Then Keien looked at Sage. But he was gone.
"How nice, who could think that you can beat the Sage of Mountains?"
"Wh-What??"
Keien got a kick to his back and got knocked down.
"It seems you can't obtain my weapon after all."
Rob and Shyun carried the unconscious Keien and ran from the spot. Sage had defeated the 3 men.
Sage looked at the sleeping Sachi. She slept like a cute baby.
"You shouldn't sleep here you know"
Sage carried the sleeping Sachi and brought her back up the mountain.
The next day,
"wh.... what happened....?"
Sachi woke up from her sleep. Sage was sitting on a broken tree stump. He smiled at her.
"Well... Let's just say that you have learned magic."
"Magic??"
Sachi stood up still feeling a bit drowsy. Some leaves flew towards her. They flew around behind her. She looked at the leaves. She suddenly remembered what happened.
"WAIT!!! THAT WAS MAGIC???"
"Yes, yes it is."
"That was so awesome!!!!"
"Well if you want it to be even more awesome, you'll need to train it."
"I WANNA TRAIN IT."
Sachi got excited by Sage's word. How exciting would it be to play with magic all day long? It was very exciting to Sachi at least.
"Well we can start today."
