The seven Dungeons were ruled by monsters. The stronger monsters rarely came out of the dungeons since they were constantly on odds with other monsters.
A Dungeon was a stairway to heaven, and higher monsters were constantly trying to reach higher levels in the dungeon so that one day they can reach the heaven.
Every time a monster ascends to a higher level in the dungeon they face the original inhabitants of that level.
The monsters called the new enemies heaveners, and saw them as enemies that must be destroyed on first sight.
Strangely there were only one race of heaveners on all the dungeons. This led the monsters to believe in a new theory.
Since the heaveners belong to the same race, it must mean that which ever race conquers the heavens must be the only race that survives the end of the era.
And these heaveners were a race from the previous era.
At the peak of an era, a race called devourer will be born with the help of the world.
Since these devourers were born from the world they had no natural enemies, everything that stands in their path were devoured.
And the era comes to an end with the self destruction of the devourers.
Then a new era starts and ends and the cycle continues endlessly.
But there was a way to avoid their deaths at the end of their era.
The only way to avoid the devourer is to ascend to the heavens.
So the stronger monsters were busy climbing the higher levels, it was only the weaker monsters with no actual power, that who roam the earth and bully the weaker humans.
.....
A place in the west side of Indiana, a eighteen year old boy was currently walking weakly towards the nearest town.
He was thin and looked weak, but his face was extremely handsome with no scars visible.
This young man was called Sky. He was currently wearing light clothes to avoid the heat of the summer.
Sky was an orphan from his birth. A group of goblins found him as a new born baby and decided to eat him.
But the thing was his left hand was not usual, it was indestructible and immortal.
They could tear away all the muscle from his body except for his hand, but the hand regenerated his whole body ever time it was destroyed.
The goblins were confused by the phenomenon but they didn't care much. After all they gain extra food.
But after tearing away his body hundreds of times they noticed it becoming harder to destroy his body with each successive tearing.
Apparently his whole body was slowly turning like his left hand every time the left hand regenerated his whole body.
The meat of the new born turned from soft and delicate to hard and firm. The goblins lost their interest in this free meal meal.
But seeing his body which could probably become indestructible they had a new idea.
They performed a ceremony to the goblin God and gave the blood to the baby Sky.
The pure goblins were a race born from the blood of Goblin God. So they thought Sky would turn into a pure blooded Goblin.
But the results were opposite of what they expected, instead of becoming a pure blooded goblin, the left hand of the baby Sky absorbed all the nutrients of the Goblin God's blood and expelled the Goblin genes.
The left hand seemed more like a protector of the boy than being a original part of him.
Left with no choice, the goblins raised him the same way they did to their children.
At the age of three Sky had already learned how to speak the goblin's language and their customs.
A middle aged lady goblin took care of him. Teaching him of the goblin God and their history.
But the young Sky never paid attention to these boring classes, he would just doze off in the middle.
The middle aged goblin also did not condemn him, the goblin God had only set one rule to the goblins. That was to do what you want to do.
So little Sky was closer to goblins than anyone else, so she did not blame him.
Soon it was the third year since they found little Sky. This was the age where the goblins underwent coming of age ceremony.
It was time for little Sky to go out and experience the world outside.
