Light pierces my eyes as I wearily open my eyes but, fell back to sleep. The light still in my eyes and I rub them then it struck me how am I alive!?
I quickly get up seeing a vast mushroom below me as I celebrated my survival. I look around to see this miracle. Glowing balls of light float around the room igniting the area with a glow. This room is empty with only bits of rocks on the ground and walls with little crevices in them , I stare up to see pitch black but, only a narrow pathway was visible as the balls of light slowly makes their way through the pathway. Although my whole body aches badly I still continued forwards to escape this unearthly place.
Slowly, walking through the path with only the spheres of light to lead. Distant voices filled my head, sounded both sinister and gentle as I approach closer but, with caution obviously - the voices become louder and clearer. Until I could make out clearly what it was saying. One saying with a smooth and calm resonance.
« Young one, you have great abilities locked by shackles become my successor and gain skills beyond me »
While also being countered by another voice with a more ominous tone.
« I sense raw strength let me release it and you shall unleash your destructive tendencies »
I closed the distance between them both and I was lured closer and closer and reaches out both my hand for the two remains, and is about to touch both at the same time - the pressure of arcania was so strong that its strength almost crushed my entire body like squashing an apple.
Just when I touched their dead bodies, chains made of powerful arcania appeared before me from the ground. With one swift strike shackled me to the floor - screaming in anguish - the chains wrapped around me even tighter, each part of my body felt as though it was bursting. In the background, two shadowy figures appeared as they mocked my suffering; one glowed with a heavenly light the other a more dark glow.
« Endure the pain as the process has just begun if not you shall die,» They both said in synchronisation.
The pain was so extreme I felt as though I should give up and receive my fate. The very same regrets blinded my view just like how I fell down here. « No, don't give in, I can do this. I will not let my weakness drag me no longer » I yelled with might and with one struggling push the chains started to shatter and cracks formed around the shackles while the two figure gave a haughty smile with half their face still covered.
The pain weakened and the pressure elevated and finally, it suddenly broke and left me drained of energy. As I closed my eyes to rest my half-destroyed body, two blurry outlines of two heavily deformed people appeared, saying
« well done, now rest as we prepare stage two »
This message echoed through my mind as I closed my eyes...
