Walking and walking, it has been a few hours since I met Alice and she has been clinging onto me from then on. Her one wing flickered every so often as she, herself, laid on my back with her head sloped on my shoulders whilst asleep. She must be tired I thought.
The sword (sheathed) attached itself to my right hip, sticking out like a nail. Low snores laid at the back of my head, seems that Kami (a nickname I gave him instead of saying kami no Teki, translate to god) is fast asleep, how is he tired I thought in disbelief. This sword seems powerful but, also looks like it is lazy.
The guide still following me; endless paths of stone and some sort of crystallised ore. The arrow-head directed my journey, turning and twisting constantly which means that the exit is full of many different roads ahead of me. The guide seems to be less luminous than before, this is not going to end well I kept thinking.
« At last, a crevice glowing with light,» I said with fatigue as my body aches on. The many hours that has passed seems to not have been a waste of time. My partners are very useless right now.
« Okay, its time to wake up you guys » I declared shaking them.
« Ah, master, good morning » Alice gently fluttered with a yawn and her wing flapping around rhythmically whilst she straightened her monolithic mass of hair. Grunts in my head indicated that Kami was clearly not awakened just yet. Fine, I thought.
« Well, Alice since you are now awoken, would you mind getting off my back » I responded with a twinge of weariness, she drifted off my back and relieve only a bit of the weight - the sword was the problem.
« we are nearly out of this ravine, let's go! » I announced with such enthusiasm, Alice smiled with a glow as we slowly entered the crevice.
The crevice was a long and very small amount of space to move, I struggled as my blade kept hitting the sides of the cobblestone. Alice laughed at every mishap. I was finally out, green light brimmed in the area, shadows laced around the outermost edges with the light exposing the hideous features that of an enormous beast towering above us all with stacks of crystals laced around the walls and far ceiling as it shimmered.
Jet black fur surrounded each part of its body with glossy hard-like shells compacted into the top of its head and around each joint. Large tusk spiked out of its deformed jaw with giant eyes that of the size of me. Four muscular legs stuck into the ground. It looked like a mammoth but, five times as large.
This is bad, this is really bad, almost yelling run when it started to stomp with a war cry. Alice looked terrified and kept repeating
« It's the Titannus, it's the Titannus, it's the Titannus... »
*Titannus an ancient war mammoth, the largest arcanic beast ever recorded, arcanic levels of that of an alpha level and beyond. Used by beast men millions of years ago in the battle of Gods*
She seems petrified so I tried to wake up Kami
« Kami help help help help help Kami help... » I continued rambling on until
« I'm trying to sleep, silence! Oh lord, it's the Titannus. Quick, draw me and slay it » Kami replied whilst realising the situation at hand and changed his tone into a rushed attitude. Steadily pulling out the sword for the second time. It felt heavy, barely able to just swing the blade.
I start to find my arcania from within and release while repeating
« Alice fly around and distract it while I get ready »
And a small voice responding with a trembling « yesss master » as she sways herself upwards barely keeping afloat with her wing and the embroiling herself in some sort of green aura and the flapping of her wing cane to a halt. She began casting some sort of wind arcanic spell.
A few distances away, the Titannus begins a mighty roar that made the ground the unstable with its powerful boom. Its heel raises as it gradually walks towards me. A giant scythe appeared out of nowhere and swung left to right, it looked as though the beast was agitated by it meaning it had to be Alice. The scythe swayed hitting powerful strikes onto the back of the monster bringing pulses of heavy wind along with it. It nearly blew me away.
I shut my eyes. My heartbeats pumps with such force, I feel myself getting closer and closer to my arcania while Alice battles the creature. Every crash and slicing of wind clogs my ears, I feel the vast amounts of stress, pressure and urgency.
The closer I get to my power the fiercer the tension. I reached out my hand for the sudden sphere of scintillation. As I brush the sphere, relief fell over and immeasurable arcania burst with streams of white mixed with very few strands of black.
« Okay, I'm ready, Alice gets out of the way » I bellowed with some sort of arcane amplifier that mysterious created before me.
Alice retreated as the monstrosity glared ferociously at me with its two large scarlet iris.
The behemoth seemed unscathed; this is going to be tough. I gripped onto my katana, grazing it with my energy. The heaviness felt even more intense.
I raised the blade over my head cautiously - as it was extremely hefty/bulky - then posted automatically almost as if my body did it on my own, I disregarded that as It was positioned onto my right side/hip and bending down as it began to charge as its heel flickered causing mini-earthquakes.
Focus, focus, focus. Calmly, the blade secreted more and more energy until the sword gathered lots of power that it was reshaped into a massive weapon still resembling a katana but, made completely of arcania.
« Ready kid, charge! » Kami shouted as my body began to sprint dragging the blade from my hip, two hands tightly grasped on the handle. The fiend ran as well as crimson power wrapped around its horns and head almost acting like a bull.
Running and running, I felt the breeze swift past me, sweat dripping down my face and deep breathe casting large wheezing noises. My body launched itself into the air as the monster was about a meter away. Pulling with all my might and held the blade directly in front of me like a rapier.
As my blade clashed against the behemoth's large steellike horns, struggles followed after with sparks flying everywhere. The best was powerful, I felt that I was being pushback slightly. The creature grunted. Its legs start to crumble but, still stable as my force begins to decrease as more time increases
The air seemed to stop but, I carried on. I felt as though I have more power so with one final push as I surged the manifested sword with even greater power and with swift precise movements, my body manoeuvred in mid-air, spinning the weapon and soared across hitting several parts of the beast as I begin to land the sword abruptly roared
« HACHIMAN STYLE: SEN NO SUTORAIKI! »
I dropped to the ground and looked over my shoulder to see such brutality. The Titannus was slain with thousands of deep gashes surrounding its body almost like it was tortured. Blood spilt out of the body as I realised the sword returned back to normal, which was a shame.
« That was brilliant master, truly a blessing to watch you work » Alice gleamed, hopping around as Kami responded
« Great execution, that was one of the twelve special attacks that only wielders of myself could use ». I was gasped, that power felt excruciating, the rush of it all. I ended the battle and said
« Okay, now I am fully prepared to leave this place, let's go to the outside world! »
