My footsteps were beginning to quicken as the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. That feeling again, the feeling of being watched.
"Yo Aki! What took you so long!" Yuuki yelled, waving his hands to signal me as to where he was. I felt my heart slow as I spotted his odd, wavy brown hair and dark blue eyes. Yuuki always had a calm and laid back atmosphere no matter how antsy I was.
My pace slowed into long strides as I walked over to him. I could still feel someone staring at me but Yuuki's calm presence quickly destroyed the overwhelming sickness in my stomach.
"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost" Yuuki snickered, I couldn't muster up the strength to tell him that someone's been following me for a few weeks. "Fine. Don't tell me. But at least don't make such a sour face when the girls get here" Yuuki chuckled as he gestured to the two empty seats.
"I don't ever think I even agreed to going to a mixer with you" I countered, this time it was Yuuki that went silent as he spotted someone from behind me.
"Who's that?" Yuuki whispered as he pointed to the unknown figure behind me. I quickly spun in my seat so I could see who it was that had been following me.
Yuuki let out a loud laugh as I turned angrily look back at him. The girl that Yuuki had just been pointing at was fairly pretty. She had thick blond hair and a pretty white sun dress, but that wasn't what was really pretty, she had gigantic boobs that the buttons on her dress were just barely capable of staying together to conceal them. 'What Yuuki wouldn't do to see them' I giggled in my thoughts.
Another girl appeared at the table, this one wearing a white crop top with a green coat. She had a younger face and green cat like eyes, but no boobs. Her hair was a light brown styled peculiarly to look cat ears.
I got dragged back to earth when Yuuki began to introduce himself, "hi I'm Yuuki, first year in high school! its a pleasure to meet you! And this is-" Yuuki gestured at me, waiting for me to finish his announcement, "uh, I'm Aki. First year at Kazegouwa high" I stated. "I'm Hinata, first year at Tamegouwa High school. Nice to meet you" the pretty blonde concluded. "And I'm Nekohara! But you can call me Neko. I'm a first year at Kazegouwa high school. Nice to meet you- nyan!" the cat girl purred. 'Now that she's opened her mouth I can see a small fang on both sides of her upper jaw. Interesting" I thought.
People have always called me observant, I guess that's why I liked going to crowded places like this with Yuuki. I felt the gaze from behind me become hateful as I sat there listening to Yuuki joke with the two girls.
"I guess we'll see you at school sometime huh Neko. And I hope I'll get to see you again Hinata" Yuuki said as he winked and pulled me out of my chair to leave.
"Did you see that girls breasts!" Yuuki exclaimed as we walked to the train station, "they were pretty big" I replied as I thought back to Hinata's figure. "Pretty big? They were gigantic! i wish I could have touched them" Yuuki countered as he hugged himself.
"Well I'll see you at school then. I'm gonna walk since I don't live too far from here" Yuuki explained as he walked off. "Yeah I'll see you Monday then" I shouted to his back. I spun on my heel and walked towards the ticket stand so I could catch the train home.
The train arrived not even five minutes after Yuuki left and I could still feel that gaze even as the train departed. I looked around the train only to find that there were 17 people boarded, not including me. A young girl with her mother and father, a red haired guy submerged in his phone, a girl anxiously checking her makeup, an old lady and her husband, a group of six girls all chatting loudly as one showed a photo of a guy on her phone and a black haired guy with a phone in his hand.
The last guy didn't appear to be looking at his phone but instead glancing at me. He wore a plain white shirt with black jeans and a silver chain, his eyes were a captivating emerald green but they quickly darted away from me as he noticed me staring at him.
I stumbled to the ground as the train abruptly stopped. My face smashed into the pole in front of me and the world went black. The last thing I remember is the man with emerald green eyes rushing over to help me.
I reached for my head as the pain began to swell and grow. I clenched my eyes shut and rolled back and forth to try and shake off the pain. The floor beneath me was cold and smooth, tiled I concluded.
I opened my eyes to see the man with emerald eyes sitting on some steps that lead up into a dark room. 'I'm in the basement' I speculated.
"Where am I?" I questioned the man, "my place Aki" the man answered. "Your the one that's been following me, aren't you?" I asked as I observed the room I was in.
It was a plain white room with a computer in the corner that was connected to many TVs, each of them displayed different angels of my room, loungeroom, kitchen and bathroom. My mum and dad were arguing in the kitchen, I could almost hear my mothers screams as my dad struck her.
Mum and dad were always fighting, and each time mums bruises and burns would almost double in size and numbers. 'Five bruises, two cuts, one burn and a burst lip' I counted. I could feel the mans emerald eyes staring daggers into my back as I observed the beating my mum was getting.
He suddenly stood up and approached me. I recoiled as he reached for a silver steel chain that was connected to the wall behind me. It was a captivating sight to see. He picked up the chain and that was when I noticed a pair of handcuffs connected to it.
"You like this stuff too right?" the man asked, my facà de melted away and a wicked smile replaced my scared frown. I nodded my head and the man approached me with the chain, grabbing my hands and forcing the cuffs shut around my wrists.
'It hurts' I thought. The man walked to a steel cupboard that melted into the darkest corner of the room. When he stepped back into the light he was holding a wooden baseball bat.
He suddenly stopped walking and he threw the bat to the ground. The man doubled over and crouched on the ground, 'dogeza?' I speculated. I had only seen it in movies, 'it was a Japanese form of apology' I recalled.
"I'm so sorry" he cried. He shot up like a bullet and stood perfectly straight, he had a sinisterly bright smile. "I forgot to introduce myself. Dammit" he muttered, "my name's Tsuki" he said as he bowed.
"Now, show me your secret" he demanded as he picked up the bat and walked towards me, that insane smile still plastered on his face.
