We arrived back at Tsuki's place, the Bentley grinding to a sudden halt in the garage. I reached for the cars cold steel handle when Tsuki's warm hand turned my face towards him, forcing me into a kiss. His lips were warm but tasted too much like a packet of mints. "Are you ok Aki?" Tsuki questioned, his face softened into a look of concern as he placed his hand on my thigh.
A warm shiver spread through my body, eating away at the pain that had been inflicted on me from the past two days. "I'm fine" I responded as I clamboured out of the Bentley into a plain white marble garage.
Tsuki was silent as he led the way through to the kitchen, "would you like something to eat?" Tsuki suggested as he rummaged through the fridge. Finally he pulled out a frozen chocolate ice cream cake from in the freezer and placed it on the bench to thaw.
I sat at the table to experience a painful moment of silence until finally I worked up the courage to ask him, "how do you know me?" Tsuki spun around and silently pulled out a chair at the table sitting across from me. "So you don't remember?" He muttered as he twined his fingers around each other. I sat there stunned as I tried to recall if I had ever met someone so handsome.
My head began to throb as I tried to recall when I was still elementary school. "No" I finally squeaked out, "well its not like I expected you to anyway" Tsuki said with a sigh as he stood up and walked over to the bench.
"When did we meet then?" I prodded as he began to cut the cake with a gleaming silver kitchen knife. "You we're six when we met" Tsuki answered as he placed two huge pieces of cake onto a couple of small white ceramic plates. He carried the plates over and placed one in front of me and kept one for himself.
I reached for a fork as Tsuki slowly opened his mouth and continued his story, "I met you in elementary school, you had such cute and big, pale blue eyes back then, fluffy white hair and a beautiful white winter coat with fur lining its hood" my head began to throb again as I recalled my elementary school, 'but why does he remember so much about me?' I thought as I silently continued listening to his story.
"You didn't have many friends and you were bullied a lot, but you never gave in, that's what attracted me to you" Tsuki went silent for a moment but continued on, gripping his fingers tighter together, "until one day" he continued with a grim expression and cold eyes, "some of your classmates put thumbtacks on your seat. You picked up one of them and stabbed yourself in the hand with it, then you picked up a handful of them and ran over to the bully and slapped him in the back with them. The bully screamed and then you grabbed his face and pulled a pocket knife out of your coat and put at his throat, you threatened him and the kid launched backwards knocking over the chair and pushing the thumbtacks into his back. You jumped on him and gouged out one of his eyes and then slit his throat." Tsuki smirked for a second but continued on, "The cops came to the school but I took you back to my place. You showed me your scars and bruises. The next day you went home and then I never saw you again. One day in town, I found you again, you we're sixteen and so I've been watching over you ever since" he concluded as he began eating his slice of cake.
The throbbing in my head got worse as my memories came flooding back into my head, the box they we're locked in shattered leaving no place to trap them back in. A sudden shreik broke the silence as I gripped my head, 'it hurts'. Tsuki ran to my side and clutched my shoulders pulling me into a tight hug. The world faded as I fell back into Tsuki's arms and then suddenly the world went black.
