"Is everything settled?" Kaia asked her staffs as she walked around the hall. "Yes ma'am. everything's settled now. But ma'am the wedding singer is not here yet." Her secretary answered. Kaia massaged her forehead and closed her eyes, "Do call her for me, please." she stated. Kaia continued to roam arounf the wedding venue as she checks each part of the said event. Her name is Kaia Madison Windsor, a 24 years old event organizer. Kaia handles big events. Usually for wealthy people or big corporate companies.
"Miss, the bride had arrived. But I have a bad news." Her secretary said as it approached her. Kaia frowned, "What is it?" she asked. "The singer can't make it. She got into an accident." Kaia slapped her forehead and tried to think. "Is the band ready?" she asked when a brilliant idea popped in her head. "Yes, ma'am." The secretary answered. Kaia nodded and removed her cardigan. "Bring me a decent dress. I'll sing." Kaia stated. The secretary's eyes widened and quickly ran off to follow Kaia's order.
Kaia changed into a champagne long gown with a high slit. She fixed her hair and make up and went up the stage. "Ready?" She asked the band. The boys nodded at her, she nodded back and held the microphone. The wedding march started as the groom to all the necessary people walked the aisle. Then it was finally the bride's turn. The violins and piano started to play as Kaia started to sing. The song was 'A Thousand Years', the groom was in tears as he looks at his very beautiful bride. The wedding ceremony started and Kaia changed back to her casual attire.
"No wonder you're the best in this line, who knew you could sing?" Trey, Kaia's bestfriend, teased her. Kaia rolled her eyes at him and chuckled. "Believe me, I don't even know I could." She replied. "Oh what can't a Kaia Windsor do?" He joked at her. They both laughed and diverted their attention to the wedding. The wedding vow was stated. Kaia frowned and rolled her eyes. Trey saw her reaction and chuckled. "What's with the eye roll?" He asked. "I find it silly. They say their vows as if they never fought their whole life." Kaia said and laughed. "You sound so bitter, Kai." Trey joked. "I don't!" She said and pouted. The wedding continued. As soon as it was over, Alyana, the bride, approached Kaia.
"Kai! Oh my goodness! Thank you so much!" She stated and hugged Kaia. Kaia chuckled and hugged Alyana back. "You're very much welcome, Al." She said. "You're indeed the best!" Alyana said and giggled.

The event ended and Kaia decides to go home. She went out of the event venue to be amused by the night in Paris. "Indeed, City of Love." She chucked and fixed her bag on her shoulders. Kaia decided to walk around the city while looking around. She saw how people, cars, lights, sounds, and everything else was changing in seconds. Kaia smiled and continued to roam around. She was too busy roaming her eyes around so she did not notice the man in front of her, in result, she bumped on him. "Sorry I didn't notice you." Kaia said. The man tsk-ed and continued to walk. Kaia was about to walk again but she touched her neck and realizes her necklace was missing, and the man was nowhere to be found!
