Leaving the Inn, I gave the room key back to the receptionist, I remembered the torture it was just getting to this town… You know what, no! I'm not doing that crap again! I'm buying-- well, renting a carriage! Actually, on second thought, I don't think I know how to use one of those, I've never even ridden a horse before… So, I'll just pay someone to! Genius, me! Oh, well, thank you very much, me. Ohoho! No problem at all, me… I'm going insane.
Now, anyways, I'm pretty sure I saw something like that back at the like entrance or whatever to the town. So, if I continue on to the other side of town, There'll probably be one of those… probably… hopefully! I don't wanna walk that long of a distance… Or be out in the sun.
Oh, and off we go to find that carriage service! Woohoo, great.
And so we did.
Of course, I told Ai what we're looking for… So we looked… and looked… and looked some more! Of course, of course, we found it! Yay… Look, I'm too worn out to act super excited, okay? This took way longer than I'm willing to admit.
But anyway, we did, and would you guess where it was? Well, right where the path thingy continued. Ah, damn, you never would have guessed, you say…?
Well me too! Just kidding, I knew the trail continued 'n all… I mean, I'm stupid, but I'm not stu-- Damn it, I've said that one before.
So, it's a little building with a bunch of carriages and horses, kinda like a stable. looks professional enough… for a place littered with horses and dirt.
And there, a man in a full suit and tie, perfectly cleaned and not a speck of dirt on him, walks over to me. What, is he the owner or something? Receptionist? Ah, who cares… I just wish I didn't have to talk to him.
"Ah! Hello sir and…" He took a good three-second look at Ai, "Young lady! And welcome to Trale Travelling Services! I presume you'd like to hire one of our many employees to take you where you would like to go?" He spoke with a lot of enthusiasm, and like the kind where it kinda creeps you out…
And what kinda name is 'Trale Travelling Services'? Jeez, the writer got extra creative on this one, didn't they? Oh, yeah… I should probably, you know, answer--
"Yes." Yep, that's all folks, just a simple yes… 'Cause I honestly wouldn't be able to manage much else.
"That's great! Now, would you like the Premium Ride or just the average one?"
Ehehe… Premium you say? Wait, hold up, I've gotta think about this… The Premium Ride or whatever could be super expensive!
"What are the prices."
"Oh! I'm glad you asked! Thirty silver for Premium, and just ten for the other."
Thirty?! Damn… That's a lot… I think. Well, it's a lot for me, since I only have thirty-two silver at the moment… I've got it! Haggling!
"How about Twenty-five."
"The prices are fixed."

"What's the difference between the two?"
"While the normal carriage you'd be renting would have lower quality seating and as well would be a bumpier ride, Premium would have very comfortable seats, wouldn't make anybody at all nauseous, and also has cooling! In my opinion, Premium is a much greater deal."
C-cooling? Damn you! How dare you resort to using my weakness…

Yeah, I ended up getting Premium. But you can't blame me! He's a good businessman… I'll give him that. Currently, Ai and I-- Hehe, 'Ai and I' Anyway, we're riding in so said 'Premium Carriage'. And… Yeah, it's super comfortable and also pretty cold, but in a good way. He didn't lie, I guess.
Now, where exactly are we going to? The Capital! Who knew we were so close… I mean, I didn't intend to go there, but it just kinda happened, ya know? Now from what I've learned from the guy driving this thing, The capital thingy is part of Draila kingdom, the greatest, and largest, human nation out of any! It even rivals the Elves, Beast-men, and Demons in size!

Gah! The carriage makes a sudden stop after jumping up in the air a bit.
"Hey! What was that?!" Oops, spoke without thinking there.
"B-BANDITS?!" The driver screamed, hurting my non-existent eardrums.
Wait, bandits? Damn it… and here I thought I would get a nice ride over to the capital. Misfortune just follows me wherever I go, huh? Well, nothing I can do… except beating these guys to hell for interrupting my ride!
