The ancient A.I. of the Atlas Pillar froze momentarily as it suddenly comprehended that it had mentioned something it shouldn't have. [Tch.] It paused in contemplation before speaking again, [I'd ask you to forget what you just heard, but I know mortals are creatures of curiosity, so it would be pointless. Out of principle, I am not to explain anything regarding that which the High Priestess has forbidden, and Andorias agrees and enforces it. There are numerous things that I'm not supposed to even mention, and letting you figure out that the Watcher is not a native of Andor is one of them... There are a handful of ways to skirt around the issue, but none of it will be straight answers.]
Arthur understood that he'd accidentally discovered a piece of the enormous puzzle that was the High Priestess's prophecy, and that he should not have learned it. Despite his understandable worry that something could go wrong because of it, he admitted that he could not suppress his curiosity for the truth. "Any answer is good enough."
[That's a stupid thing to say. Some answers might make your thoughts even more convoluted... Alright, I'll give you some of the answers that I shouldn't give. Keep in mind that there is a difference between 'cannot give' and 'should not give'.] Halad's hologram crossed its arms in frustration as it continued, [To answer your question, the Watcher is essentially the planet of Andor's greatest guardian and has existed since before the planet was born. It has watched every bit of its growth, from its birth until now. Only a single deity has ever had direct contact with the Watcher, and I cannot tell you which one. I cannot tell you any more specifics, especially when it comes to the Watcher's true identity.] Though it did not say it directly, Luca and Arcturus intuitively understood that the last part of Halad's last sentence was directed at them.
"That's already more information than we had before, even if it only slightly explains anything. If the Watcher has existed since before Andor Planet was born, then it makes sense that the Watcher is not a native of it. I'll be honest, though. I'm intrigued as to why such a being protects Andor Planet so vigilantly." Arthur, though never a studious or scholarly person, was always quick to dive headfirst into learning about anything related to allies, enemies, and potential dangers. Considering his mental description of the Watcher as of now, he believed that it stood on a similar side to the natives of Andor, even without evidence.
[I can't answer that, as it pertains to said true identity. I can tell you, however, that the Demon God will never attempt to conquer Andor so long as the Watcher remains. Even with his true body and complete strength, he would not be able to match the Watcher.]
Luca, having experienced the horror of the Demon God's incarnation during his previous life, understood just how powerful a fraction of Krazius's power was. Despite that, Halad stated that even at his full power, he'd be weak before the Watcher. While it did not necessarily surprise him, it did appease some of his fears. As long as the Demon God's full power did not appear, there was still a fighting chance for Andor. "Good. Even a small chance of survival is good."
Halad nodded slightly, [You understand that much, at least. The Demon God's peak strength outmatches all of Andor's pinnacle existences, whether past or present, including deities. If not for the existence of the Watcher, the planet would have fallen long ago.] It unfolded its arms and put a hand on its hip, [I can also confirm your guesses, little Dragonborn, on who the two portal guardians are since you're bad at hiding your thoughts. Not to mention you brought it up verbally earlier.] Ignoring Luca's embarrassed look, it continued, [Both are indeed Pseudo-Sages, and you have already ascertained one of them, the Lunar Guardian, to be the Snow Elves patron. The Solar Guardian, his opposite, is special in that he is one of a kind, literally. Though not a deity of any kind, his ability can match them, just as the Lunar Guardian's can.]
[To be more clear, the Lunar Guardian is empowered by lunar forces and is the original Snow Elf. Though he originally opted for the racial name of Night Elf, his kin showed incredible prowess in water, particularly frost, magic. As it became stronger during the night, especially during a full moon, he understood that their magic was water-central and heavily influenced by the moon and the seasons. He decided on the name Snow Elf, donning the title of King of Winter and making the most well-known facet of the winter season into their symbol. I'll refrain from naming him, as it would be rude to do so without his approval.]
[In comparison, the Solar Guardian is a creature that was born around the time of Andor's first native lifeforms. Originally, Andor had two suns, which was originally more than it could handle, and nearly made the planet uninhabitable in its beginning. Though I cannot tell you why, since it's related to a certain individual again, I can tell you that the Solar Guardian was born through external interference. One of the two stars began to shrink, very slowly condensing until it was no bigger than the moon, before retaining that shape. Over thousands of years, it incubated its former power, growing it in the process. Eventually, just as the first native lifeforms were born, the second star cracked all over its surface as it began to change into a completely new form. Parts of the star expanded while others shrank, giving definition to its new existence, which opened its three eyes soon after. The second star had become an egg, which gradually birthed the one-of-a-kind creature, which soon took the racial name of Three-Eyed Owl. As it is a result of a sun transforming into a living creature, it, later deciding to be interpreted as male, is quite literally the only being with full power over solar energy. Not even Andor's solar deity Sulis would dare claim to be superior to the Three-Eyed Owl.]
