Few weeks had passed after the day Angelina lost her parents. Officer Susan and Andrew had helped Angelina in organizing the funeral of all those who died. There were issues of who would do the last rites of her mother, but since Angelina is considered as her closest relative she was allowed to do the last rites. Though her maternal family seemed less pleased with this arrangement, they had to agree to it. Ella was still in hiding and it seemed difficult to find her. In school the semester was about to end after which she was planning to take online courses so it would be easier to look after the kids. Even the girls were adapting to the situation well which Angelina was proud of. Her friends were helping her cope up with everything going on. She had also started working at a dinner in the evening and doing an internship in a company as she had grades well enough for that job.
School had just finished and Angelina was heading for her internship in Wilson Enterprise. Anushka was in her school and Natasha was in daycare. She would pick up both of them when she will go home to get ready for her second job. Angelina was just walking away when two people started behind her with a knife in their hand trying to stab her. Angelina was focused on crossing the road as there was allot of traffic and did not see them coming but Andrew who was a little bit behind her saw this and shouted "Angelina look back!!"
Hearing Andrew shouting like a madman Angelina turned back and came face to face with a man covered in black from his head to tow holding a knife in his hand about to stab her and another man not far behind them holding another knife. But that knife was not a simple one it was coated in some blue liquid which Angelina assumed to be poison. She did not have much tie to react. She had to do whatever she could do soon. She grabbed the hand of the man in front of her and slashed his wrists and used a stone lying nearby to hit the head of the second man. The first man got up and lunged towards her but she threw some dirt in his face so he was not able to see and thing. By this time, Andrew had arrived at the scene with some of his friends and started beating those two. Angelina yelled over the chaos "Look out for those knives, they are poisoned." Andrew was about to be stabbed by one of the man who got hold of knife but Angelina put her hand in between taking the blow. The police had been called and luckily it was Officer Susan with her team. The police broke the fight easily and Andrew filled them in what happened there. Angelina was taken to the hospital as the officers confirmed it to be poison, one of the deadliest to be exact. Those two men were sent in police custody to figure out who sent them.
At hospital.
Angelina had been treated and was resting before she can be allowed to go home. Andrew came and sat beside her. On seeing him Angelina gave him a big smile, "Thank you Andrew you saved my life today. If you had not shouted for me then I would have been dead."
Hearing this Andrew gave her a deadpanned look and asked "I should be the one to thank you. You saved my life by taking the blow that was directed fro me. But don't you dare think that this means I am happy with what you did because no missy I am not. I am thinking what punishment I should give you for almost killing yourself. You know better than risking your life Angelina. You can't die and you know that. You scared me so much. I thought I will lose you. Promise me Angelina! Promise me you will never be so stupid again."
"I won't promise you Andrew because I will do this again if it can save your life. Heck I will do this even if you don't like it. For the life of my loved ones I can even die. And you fucking know this. So don't be this much pissed and give me a smile."
