"Um... are you alright, Spence?" Pin moved towards Spence at a cautious pace.
"Yeah, I am fine." Spence placed his hand on the ground and tried to get up.
Spence rushed towards him and helped him to get up. "I think you should head back to your room. Take a short nap, then we will see what we can do." He propped him up and led him outside the changing room. Spence was now feeling better than before.
He walked towards the elevator and waited for it to reach the ground floor. Once it reached, he went inside and pressed a button without looking at it. Fortunate enough, there were only two floors accessible to students, the ground which was the training ground and the first, which had the dorms and the classes. He got off at the first floor and headed to his dorm room.
He stood in front of his room and took out a bunch of keys. He tried each key and fit it into a keyhole. He unlocked the door and entered it. The room was a complete mess. Sam's clothes were all over the place and the bedsheets were scattered around in the room.
'Where did you disappear?'
He gathered all the clothes and piled them up. After which, he headed towards the laundry box located at the entrance of the room to give them for washing. Spence could not tolerate the smell coming from the clothes. It was a mixture of burned flesh and dried blood. It was not long before Spence began to gag and rushed to the washroom.
The sound of the tap water running with force broke the silence of the room. Spence washed his face and ran the water through his hair to tame them.
'I'll take a shower later.'
He wrapped an old t-shirt around his head. After which he walked back to the bed and lied down. Whilst grabbing another bedsheet from Pin's bed, he noticed a significant hole in the cloth. The hole seemed rough at the edges, almost as if someone had ripped it with their hands.
'What was this person up to?'
He kept the bedsheet back in its place and took out the other one from the laundry box. Though it smelled horrible, he had no other option. He headed to his bed and lied down, this time with no plans to get up again. After a short while, he fell into a deep sleep.
*******************************************
Back at the swimming training, the training had begun and students were in the Olympic sized swimming pool, all trying their best to impress the instructor. However, none of them was successful so far.
"Can you students please learn how to swim?" He yelled.
"Can you please learn how to teach?" Pin muttered under his breath as he prepared to dive. "Bond! Come here!" He exclaimed when he saw Bond heading towards them.
Pin took a look at his friend and turned back out of his sight to giggle. It was difficult to control one's laughter when encountering such a scenario. Bond's body was lean to the point of calling him malnourished. His bones peeped out of his skin and it was almost visible through the skin-hugging black bodysuit. His face was the only thing that seemed genuine at that point. The fair skin donned with blond hair. The whole situation was a fine contradiction.
Yet, there was something unusual about his face too. His deep blue eyes had turned deep black. They were as lifeless as Spence's pitch black eyes.
"Bond, I think you lost your contact lenses." Pin tried his best to be serious while trying to control his laughter.
"What do you mean?" Bond's patience was at its peak.
"What I mean is, your beautiful blue eyes have become black." Pin stretched his arm and warmed himself up.
"Oh damn! I went to take a shower without taking them off."
"Go and find them." Pin instructed before splashing into the swimming pool.
Bond headed back to the creepy shower chambers and began to look for his lenses. He entered the one he used. The room was foggy due to the steam and the floored was covered with water, still warm to touch. For this reason, the room was darker than before and the place seemed eerie.
Bond could not understand where to begin with. He checked the top of the soap dispenser if he could find his lenses but he could not find them anywhere. He looked near the drain but they were completely out of sight.
'Where did I keep them?'
He headed towards the wash basins and began searching for his lenses near the sink. He found one of the lenses kept randomly near the sink. The other one was missing. He bent down to check whether it had fallen down. He checked near the drainage pipes and the drain holes but he could not find it anywhere.
At the moment, he felt a trickle of thick liquid on his shoulders.
