"I did not do anything!" Bond yelled as he refused to come out of the pool.
"Student 23456 is requested to come out of the pool." The person announced.
"But sir, I am innocent." His voice began to tremble. "I only remember seeing the dead body and passing out."
"Student 23456, please come out and surrender yourself." The voice became more stern. "Othetwise, we will take strict action."
At this point, Bond's mind was clouded by overwhelming emotions. Flashbacks of the incident began to gain figure and the scenarios became clearer by the minute. He had lost the sanity to think and did what he could do to defend himself.
'I think going under the pool can help me escape.'
With that thought in mind, he grasped a huge breath of air and dived straight to the bottom of the pool. After which, he slowly let out minimal air bubbles so as to not grab any attention.
"The force will now take action!" Someone yelled through the megaphone.
The statement was issued as an order to the members of the force. Five well built men with chiseled bodies removed their uniform shirts at once and dived straight inside the pool.
The water showed rapid movement and Bond's vision began to blur. The only thing he could see was a thick sheet of dense water in front of his eyes. He decided to shut his eyes and trust his sense of instinct.
'Someone is coming here.' He could feel the sharp movement of water around himself.
At once, he kicked the floor and shot straight towards the top, the water making a huge splash. However, more danger awaited him there. The leader of the force stood near the edge, anticipating his arrival. As soon as he reached the top, he was captured by a pair of metal handcuffs.
"You are a smart kid." The leader sneered. "Too bad you are not on our side."
Bond had no escape now and he decided to surrender. He got out of the pool and the leader lead him to the exit.
"Sir, please listen to what I want to say." Bond pleaded, as he looked towards the tile floor.
"You seem like a nice kid." The leader shot a warm smile at him. "Say it."
"SIR, PLEASE TRY TO BELIEVE ME." He yelled.
"Calm down kid." The leader cupped his ears. "I am standing right next to you."
"I think Bond is in trouble." Pin remarked.
Pin looked around himself to check whether Bond was in sight. They were all gathered near the baby pool area which was quite far from the Olympic sized main pool.
The infrastructure of this pool was quite different from the main pool. The floor was heavily carpeted with turf to avoid slipping and the pool was not deep enough to drown. Some students had dipped their legs in the pool and were trying to calm themselves down.
"I will come back in a minute." He notified all the students.
Pin moved over to the main pool area and noticed his friend struggling with a well built man, his hands tied up in handcuffs.
"Bond!" He rushed towards them. "What happened?"
"I think this kiddo is your friend." The leader said. "Even so, you can't deny the fact that he is a criminal."
"A criminal? This guy cannot even kill a cockroach." Pin began to laugh.
"What do you mean?" The leader was puzzled. "We have an eyewitness for the murder."
"Who was it?"
"Your swimming instructor, mr. William."
"Oh that chap. He passed out before all of us here!" Pin could not control his laughter.
"But he said your friend murdered a person."
"Sir, if you have one eyewitness to prove him as a criminal, I have more people to prove he is innocent." Pin turned his head and pointed towards the baby pool area. "They can testify his innocence."
"Is everything alright?" Someone tapped on Pin's shoulder. Pin turned back. It was Spence.
For apparent reasons, Spence was not in his best looks that day. His black hair was matted to the point that tails and curls ran in all directions. His face seemed heavy and weighed down. His eyes had bags under them, and were probably swollen due to excessive crying.
"Spence! What are you doing here?" Pin held his arm and questioned. "Go take some rest. I will handle this."
"I don't need rest." Spence jerked off his hand and moved towards the leader. "What is going on anyway?"
"Your friend here is arrested for murder."
"I am sorry officer, but this person has not murdered anyone."
"Then who was the bloody idiot who said that a murderer is on the loose?"
"I don't know that sir, but this person is not a criminal." There was a sparkle of belief in Spence's eyes.
"Well, two witnesses are obviously better than one. Since you all are so sure about him not being a criminal, I can only come back after gathering enough evidences. See you all after the postmortem reports come in." He handed them the handcuff keys, ordered all of his comrades and headed back to the main building.
"Thanks a lot for helping me guys." He rushed over to Pin and embraced him in a warm hug. Spence stood aside and turned back so as to not look at them.
Pin loosened himself from the hug and walked over to Spence. He noticed the heavy tears in his eyes. Bond realized this fact and embraced Spence in an unexpected hug.
"Everything will be just fine." He whispered in his ear.
