The moment Tang Peng had headed in, he was met with a giant fist to his face. He flew backwards immediately, and started spitting out blood.
"So weak? I don't know why master sent me here. Even those small time experts had better defence. They still died though. Kekekeke!" The giant humanoid behind the fist openly mocked Tang Peng. It went closer to Tang Peng, intending to finish him off within a few hits.
However, a golden chest plate appeared on Tang Peng, before he started to levitate in the air, away from the monster's vicious fists. The monster stared up at the sky, before grinning creepily.
"Yasoth, bring him down to earth for me!" From behind that monster's back, there were clumps of hair. Once the monster had shouted out the command, the hair loosened to form numerous black threads.
The black threads shot up high into the air, where a few strands of the thread caught onto Tang Peng's legs. Tang Peng, who was heavily injured, tried to cut away the threads, but they were rock solid.
The threads then started to reel back Tang Peng. The monster charged up its fist, preparing to hit Tang Peng with a blow again. Tang Peng then simply deactivated the Grudge Yin Form, falling to the ground with a heavy slam.
"This person must be suicidal. Trying to escape Yasoth's grasp by the sudden force? Foolish." The monster slammed towards Tang Peng, only to feel soft dirt brush against its hand.
"Master, he got away." The monster then frowned, before he lifted an engraved rock to its lips and talked to its master. It had injected its own Yin Qi inside to activate the rock's resonance.
"Don't worry, he's still here. I can still feel his presence here. Use that scout form of yours. He should appear quickly enough." The rock did not reply for a moment, before it started talking.
"Understood. I will recover him for you, even if I must die!" The humanoid then collapsed into numerous shadowy worms. The smell of something rotting could be detected as the shadowy worms started burrowing into the ground. Once the shadowy worms were gone, all there was left was a skeleton.
The clump of hairs spread out into single strands and went in every single direction possible. Some headed for the trees, some headed deeper inside the forest, and some even stayed there.

Even though Tang Peng was one with the soil, he was still on alert. This time, he had really overestimated his own abilities! He had not expected to experience two monsters that were so fearsome.
One of them had multiple strands which were as strong as iron. They could bind and tear a normal person apart with ease. As for the other monster, he could feel it splitting into various forms of itself, which was a powerful ability. These monsters could not be killed unless every part of their bodies were destroyed.
Now that the monsters were actively searching for him, Tang Peng was not sure if he should continue with the bounty. On one hand, the bounty was lucrative. 100 gold coins for three monsters that Tang Peng could detect. On the other hand, he would be risking his life against the powerful monsters in the forest.
Eventually, Tang Peng decided to continue with the bounty. He had already gotten into trouble with someone for it, and it would be a waste to just throw it away now. Furthermore, he could increase his cultivation here. There were not many places where he could increase his cultivation.
After moving his soil body around for a little bit, Tang Peng could feel worms made of Yin Qi wriggling around. He was fairly certain that this was the form that the monster had taken. Tang Peng did an imaginary smile. Now that the monster had split into so many selves, it was the best time for him to take revenge.
Slowly, a mound of soil moved throughout the grounds of Devil Forest slowly pushed some shadowy worms together. The monster's main consciousness could feel this, but it assumed that it was a random movement in the earth.
Suddenly, all the shadow worms were crushed! The monster could feel the pain of some parts of its body getting crushed, so all the worms started to wriggle in pain, before gathering together outside the Earth.
As the worms gathered together, a formless shadow was made. The shadow quickly latched onto a corpse nearby, which recovered the corpse to pristine condition. The corpse then sat up straight, before letting out a blood curdling scream throughout the whole forest.
"Tsk. So annoying." Tang Peng's was distracted by the scream while absorbing the Yin Qi from the dead worms. He had pushed out the worms, before he stopped the ghost's ability and crushed the worms with his own Yin Qi.
The Yin Qi he absorbed was especially potent. There were numerous grudges hidden within, so he absorbed them too. Tang Peng smiled, as he could feel all the grudges were made from hatred. It meant that he could use the devilish powers again.
Just when he finished absorbing everything, the corpse and the hair appeared at the same time, using a multi-pronged catch him off guard. However, Tang Peng's body suddenly ballooned up, to the point that he reached the point where he was twice in size. He could now control 20% of the hatred version now ever since his cultivation base increased.
"Impossible! How can a human use the hatred demonisation method? There is no way it still exists… Unless…" On the corpse's body, eyes suddenly started to pop out everywhere.
"No wonder the boss tried to get us to find you, you're a Yin Soul! Your soul will become the catalyst for me to reach Devil General!" The eyes suddenly separated into flying bats, leaving the corpse nothing but a skeleton. Each of the bats started to have a dark energy concentrated in their eye pupils.
"Don't you dare think this is everything I have. Otherwise, you will regret it!" A whip appeared in Tang Peng's hand, before some of the eyes suddenly exploded in the air, spraying Yin Qi everywhere.
Attracted by the battle, Yin monsters of all kind that lived in the forest started to pop out left and right. The higher rank monsters understood the importance of the Yin Soul. It could save them thousand of years of cultivation. All of the devils planned to jump on this human at the same time, and steal the Yin Soul within!
