I have Jog put my gem back in the altar. The group of Imps continued to prostrate themselves before my gem. I just got to this new world and I'm already ready to cry. My image of reincarnation has completely shattered.
Why am I in this crystal instead of having a normal reincarnation story? In addition to my present physical circumstances, I was literally thrown off the proverbial dock and told to swim. I was given no knowledge of this world or how to live in it. Is this what it feels like to be an abandoned child? Instead of abandoned it might be more accurate to say I was duped. *sigh* I have no one to blame but myself. The goddess cast out her line and I swallowed the hook with the bait, I'm sure.
If I am to survive this new life, information is necessary. The more I can learn about what I've become, this new world and whatever is in it, the better chance to survive. I need to understand more about where I got put. I don't know anything about the geography or countries of this world. I must understand the powers of the different regions, both politically and socially, and how it will affect my dungeon. A dungeon that popped up out of thin air will definitely have an effect on the surrounding area.
How will the areas around my dungeon react? Is the world hostile to dungeons? That's probably a given, but sometimes dungeons are viewed as farm sites, right? What about the monsters that will propagate in the dungeon? Will they affect the areas around the dungeon?
I have an unending amount of questions and the worst part I'm lacking time. Why you may ask? Well, anyone who has ever played a strategy game knows that one of the most dangerous attacks for players is the 'Blitz'. Sometimes, it is hard to stop an early game blitz even when you prepare for it. Therefore, the most important question is how to build the dungeon and quickly too.
"Job, I have so many questions I want to ask, but I'll put most of them off to later. First, I need to know where are we at? What is the current composition of the dungeon? Lastly, how do we make the dungeon great again??!!"(Sirus the believer)
"Your Evilness, we are under the Kartikeya mountain. The Kartikeya mountain is located in the mid-western area in the kingdom of Eliana. The Kartikeya mountain is a singular and very large volcanic mountain. It is the only mountain in the region, and surrounded by dense forests. My people dug down about 3 levels from where we entered the mountain. We set some simple traps to protect ourselves but that's all we could do. We found a vein of gold and iron ore while tunneling and wanted to trade the ore for daily goods. Unfortunately, no one was willing to help us." (Job the diligent)
I was quietly thinking about what he said. They went through the wringer it seems. Always thought it was human nature to pray for help when in trouble, but it must cross species boundaries too. This new life doesn't seem to have the "tutorial mode". In fact, I'm thinking the damn goddess set my new life to "Hell Mode"!! Man, why can't I have some helper ability to make my work easier?

I'm I hearing things now? It sounds like a phone vibrating in the room. I sweep my consciousness over the room and find it's my crystal that's making the noise. The imps in the room are a bit frightening over the unexpected noise.
"Excuse me, Jog, my gem rings. Maybe the Evil goddess of my dreams is missing me already and called to check on me."(Sirus the touched)
I return my consciousness back to the gem with a bang sound. I'm back inside the phone booth-like structure of the crystal. When I'm inside the gem, my soul has some substance to it. This is the first chance to explore my existence after reincarnating here. It seems my soul is like a ghost. My spirit has a simi-physical substance to it, like ectoplasm. This gives me a feeling of a physical body but clearly, it's not. As fascinating as this is, I still need to understand why the gem is vibrating like a cell phone.
"W-w-what's this???!!"(Sirus)
On one side of the crystal wall of the gem is a notification like a cellphone has. It reads, "Incoming call for Evil goddess." I, gingerly, touch the green talk button with my spirit hand and it connects.
"Umm... Hello??!!"(Sirus)
"Hello, Sirus, how are you doing? Everything works out alright with the transfer?"(Evil goddess tech support)
I don't understand why the crystal I'm in has cellphone capabilities but what impressed me more was video chat. That's right!!! I'm not just talking to the Evil goddess of wet dreams, I'm seeing her as well!! Ah, my goddess!!! Banzai!!!!
"I would say I'm doing great here, but I'd be lying. I was thrown into an unknown environment without understanding anything. Also, you made me a dungeon heart!! How could I have my hopes utterly crushed like this? You didn't give me a plan or purpose before you tossed me here. Therefore, I have no idea what to do. It would help to have some guide or utility abilities to understand myself and what I'm capable of." (Sirus the venting)
"What is going on about? You already have the most power Core I have ever made. While it would bore you to hear all the details about it, so just relax and have fun uncovering the dungeon core's capabilities. fufufufufu..."(Evil goddess ICore LX)
"*Sigh* Can you at least tell me how to use the core gem? I would like to see a stat window or something to start."(Sirus the beggar)
The sound of her evil laughter stops after he asked his question. She places her cute finger to her lips in thought for sometime before answering. Seeing Her make such a cute face dealt my heart a Critical Hit. Ah... I think I lost HP...
"Well, I'll say this only; 'The gem will respond to both voice and touch.' Well, that's all for now, so take care of yourself. The gem was made by me so it pretty tuff, but not invincible. If the gem is broken your soul will have no vessel to keep it. You understand what happens with no vessel right?"(Evil goddess of flags)
"Yeah... that would be my second out, right?"(Sirus)
The call ends with the image of the goddess fading out to the transparent glass screen again. Hum... responds to voice and touch, huh? Oh, maybe the crystal is like a crystal from Krypton? They were actually supercomputers with enough storage capacity to copy the essence of Super's mom and dad and the entire race's combined knowledge. Maybe I'm imaginations are out of control, but how cool would it be if the gem is like a super magically enhances computer/vehicle that my soul uses. Ooouuu!!! I'm itching to find out!!!!
"Ok... let's try something out then. Gem, show my stat window!!."

It's that same voice from before I heard. It's a pleasant voice, calming and sweet on the ears. The glass screen in front of me starts to display lots of data.
