Chapter 29 - Intersection

It was Gray's first time to train together with everyone. His expression was serious staring at Ur.

"Alright, take off your clothes."

"...."

Gray felt that he had heard something wrong, but then he realized that Lyon and Bourne also took off their clothes. "What the hell, are you doing?!"

"To master Ice-Make magic, you need to get used to the cold temperature." Ur folded her arms, but she didn't take off her clothes at this moment.

"...."

Gray frowned, but he took off his clothes and only wore his undies since he didn't want to lose to Bourne and Lyon. He felt very cold and held his arms together. "S, S, S, Shit...!"

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it soon." Lyon smiled. He was happy when he saw Gray who was tortured by the cold.

"You're shaking too!"

Gray glared at Lyon, but then he realized Bourne was yawning. He had heard that Bourne was only 7 years old and it meant that Bourne was one year younger than him, but....

"I'll become stronger than you!" Gray stared fiercely at Bourne.

Bourne only yawned and didn't care about Gray's provocation.

Does the wolf care about lamb provocation? No.

Bourne felt the same, in his mind Gray was only a weak lamb which he could bite anytime.

Being ignored by Bourne, Gray was angry, and wanted to say something, but stopped when he heard Ur's voice.

Ur nodded and said, "Come on, we're going to run."

Gray frowned and shouted, "Hey! Teach me magic!"

"Just run already. We're even doing a basic with you, even though we don't need to do it."

Lyon shook his head and wondered why Gray couldn't appreciate them. He knew that it was hard for Ur to teach someone and he believed if Gray didn't have such an unfortunate incident then Ur wouldn't even give him a glance.

Bourne looked at Ur and wondered why this woman hadn't even been naked when Lyon and Gray appeared. 'Is she shy?' He thinks that Ur had become better and she had cured her exhibitionist disease.

---

After physical training, Bourne was thinking about the development of his "Water" magic.

'Hydrogen and oxygen...'

Bourne thought that it would be very interesting magic.

---

"Why doesn't he need to train?" Gray looked at Bourne.

"Because he's very powerful," Ur said simply.

Even though Lyon didn't want to, he had to admit that Bourne was very powerful, especially his "Water" magic. He had asked Ur to teach him, but she had said that she couldn't teach him since that magic was an innate magic which meant that the only person who could learn it was Bourne.

That's why Lyon was going to become stronger with Ice Make magic alone since the impact of ice orca which was created by Bourne had been buried deep into his heart. In the future, he was also going to make his Ice Make magic became stronger, bigger, and colder than Bourne and Ur's Ice Make magic.

"Powerful? He is?!"

Gray seemed to not believe it since he saw that Bourne was laying on the side of the tree lazily.

"Don't be fooled by his lazy expression. He's thinking of developing his own magic now."

Ur shook her head at Gray since she didn't really like it when someone thought badly of Bourne. Bourne was her pupil and she had taught him for almost two years. She was proud of him, and even though she felt empathetic toward Gray, it didn't mean that she couldn't get angry at him.

"Then teach me the same!" Gray roared.

"As I've told you before, you're not my pupil and I don't have an obligation to teach you."

Ur's words were quite cruel which made Gray flinched for a moment.

"Then what are you going to teach me?" Gray asked. This time, his tone was milder and a bit timid.

"I'll teach you the most unrestained magic in the world! The Ice Make!"

Ur gathered her palms together and created a large hammer of ice which stunned Gray for a moment. Then she swung her large ice hammer to the ground creating a large crater and scattered a lot of snow. The shockwaves also almost blew both Lyon and Gray away. Bourne had told her last night that it was better to show her power directly to make Gray respect him and it seemed that his words were right since she could see the change in Gray's expression. "What do you think?"

Gray looked at this ice hammer then nodded. "Teach me!" He didn't hesitate and wanted to learn this magic as soon as possible.

---

Bourne was looking at Ur who taught both Lyon and Gray. He yawned and somehow found oxygen and he only needed to find hydrogen which was scattered in the air. By controlling the oxygen in the air, he could focus oxygen in one place to create oxygen toxicity and by removing the oxygen in the air, he could make someone pass out. With this ability, he felt that he could do a lot of things which made him happy.

Bourne was about to continue his practice, but then he noticed a frail little girl with short hair running in his direction. He was looking at her, but it seemed that she didn't notice him.

The little girl stopped on the nearby tree and stared at Ur who was teaching both Lyon and Gray with a smile. Bourne noticed that this little girl seemed to be furious for some reason then tears rolled from her eyes.

Bourne couldn't bear it and decided to greet this girl since he was wondering why this little girl was crying.

"Hey!"

The little girl was startled then noticed Bourne who was laying on the side of the tree. She didn't notice him before since his body was almost buried by snow. She suddenly panicked and started to run away.

Bourne didn't have a chance to ask the little girl and he saw her running away. He was about to chase her, but he was called by Ur.

"Bourne, hurry up and get here! You can't skip body training today!"

"Wait for a moment, Ur." Bourne was about to get the little girl since this girl was quite pitiful, but when he was about to chase her, his hand was grabbed by Ur.

"Where are you going? You can't run away today!" Ur looked at him fiercely.

"......"

Bourne was speechless, but then he quickly surveyed the forest. However he had lost that little girl.

"Hurry up!" Ur dragged Bourne to the training location.

Bourne was helpless and could only give up. He wasn't sure who that girl was, but he felt that he had seen this girl somehow.

'Where have I seen her?'

---

When Bourne had been dragged by Ur, the little girl came out from her hiding place. Her eyes became determined before she walked away from the forest and returned to her previous place. Clenching her hands tightly, she had made up her mind at that moment.
