Dai left Minh to Jin as he knew Jin was attracted to Minh. He also wanted to avoid to confront Minh directly. If he could reject her without hurting her, it was still the best path to take. Little did he knew back then, that being clear cut with someone, to the point of being brutally honest, was still the best way to reject someone like Minh. Though with her resilience, maybe even directly rejecting her would have not damper her feelings...
As an one of the instructor, part of his evening duty was to patrol around his camp area and make sure everything was in order. Though it was still early for the patrol, he figured a walk may help him sort out what he needed to do in the next few days, weeks in order to capture Ran's heart.
He believed the young lady had an interest in him but he was unclear if that interest had yet became something more. He sighed : if only a girl's heart was as easy to capture as learning ABC.
Suddenly, he heard some screams and loud noises. A fight?! What could have happened?! He ran towards the drama.
"B*TCH! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING? WHO THE F*CK YOU THINK YOU ARE?"
A girl was on the ground screaming at another girl. Her hair was roughed up, her face was showing signs of bruises. She had most likely just got punched. Dai recognized her as Lucy. Bourgeoisie's daughter, her father was the second generation president of a corporation. And in the camp, she was the Queen Bee. Cousin of Minh. Oh! Boy! He was half-admiring the guts of the person who punched her and half-pitying that person. After all, he knew that a truck load of trouble was about to landed on that person.
Speaking of the devil, when Dai looked at the person who actually dared to punch Lucy. He had the biggest shock of his short life, his face almost disfigured by the surprise. Ran!?! His gentle Ran? She was the one who had thrown the punch? Such a gentle girl pushed to that extremity, something really bad must have happened.
And it looked like Queen Bee's troop was about to do a comeback. Several girls were know resolutely walking towards Ran. By the time Dai had arrived near them, one had even the guts to restrained her right arm.
"STOP! What are you all doing? This is unacceptable behavior in this camp!"
Putting himself between Ran and the teens, he had come to protect her.
"That B*tch started it all Instructor Dai!"
"She is evil, everything is her fault!"
"I saw it all, Ran Shen started the trouble!"
None of the people around actually took Ran's defense. They were all set to make Ran guilty.
