As soon as the lady disappeared. The thunder became even louder. The sky was now as black as night, the pressure in the air was intense.
"Master is extremely angry" The young man understood he would suffer quite a bit now.
Mist or smoke gathered in the garden in front of the young man. In an instant, it became the silhouette of a man, and then a full man appeared. The young man kneeled immediately, his fist on his heart.
"Master"
"You….Where is she? I know she was here!"
The man had lightning in his eyes, his hair was disheveled. As he was screaming, he was the true portrait of a madman.
"She have left already."
Even though the young man's heart was pounding. He answered calmly. The madman was already angered but when he heard the answer, he went another level of fury.
"Useless trash!"
The madman slapped the young man so hard, he fell on the ground, with blood spurting from his mouth. Still, the young man did not retaliate and went back to his kneeling position, his head lowered, his gaze fixing the ground.
The mad man looked at him for a few instants and disappeared in a misty cloud which eventually dispersed in the air.
Only when he was sure no one was around anymore, the young man wiped his mouth, sat down in the grass and took a small jade talisman out. Engraved on it was a lotus pattern. The young man sighed and prayed.
"Please, young mistress, be safe."
He put the talisman back to where he took it from, well hidden within his clothes. Then he cursed the bad luck he had : his Young Mistress had just returned, but she returned injured and the Master had to return right after! Now, he didn't know when would be the next time she would return. The young man was quite worried for his Young Mistress, he had now the conviction he had to grow stronger, much more stronger, stronger enough to cure her. He couldn't believe she had forgotten him!
But at least, he secured a way to communicate with her.
IN LILY'S ROOM
As Lily was still trying to figure out what the lotus on her hand meant, 3 light knocks disturbed her thoughts. Who could it be?
"Sister-in-law, are you awake yet?" It was LingLing.
Speaking of him, he was quite furious when he learnt that his brother had left the Bal without him. He had to go to great difficulty to find a ride home. Today, he wanted to settle debt with that vixen who dared to seduce his brother.
Lily didn't want to bother with the tsundere boy right after waking up, it was too troublesome. So she pretended she was still asleep.
No answer…
3 more insisting louder knocks. "PIG, until when will you stay awake?!"
Still no answer.
This time LingLing didn't wait for an answer and intruded in the room. She was really a pig. It was already late in the day and she was still sleeping. He approached the bed, intended to brutally wake her up. But then he saw her pale complexion and the dark blue rings under her eyes and remembered that last night she nearly fainted. Was she not getting better? Why did she look so tired?
All his malicious plans disappeared, he didn't have the heart to interrupt her rest now that he had seen her so fragile. He convinced himself he wasn't the type of man who would kick a man when the man was down, or in this case the woman. He would wait until she had recuperated to make her feel hell! Only then would his revenge be satisfying.
After a last stare at the young woman sleeping peacefully, LingLing stepped out of the room.
