After crying for a long time, Jiro felt he had vented and released all his pent-up fears. At some unknown time, Jiro fell asleep, while Hiroyuki was still holding him. Although he was tired from a long day of work, Hiroyuki didn't hold any complaints in his heart. He was glad the young boy was able to hear what he had to say. The young boy now understood this was his home too.
It had been difficult, but now they could move past this. Hiroyuki wanted Jiro to reintegrate into society. Maybe, he could convince to get an education. There were several trade schools. If Jiro liked landscaping, he could earn a degree from a trade school in landscape design or become an apprentice to a seasoned landscaper.
Jiro had a good mind and a positive attitude. No matter where he goes, he can always get along with others. In society, the most important aspect of work is teamwork. That's why it's a called a society, because everyone has to be social.
Since he didn't want to wake Jiro up, Hiroyuki held the young boy in his arms and slowly lowered them into a flat position. Lying on the ground, Hiroyuki pulled a blanket over to cover them. Then he slowly fell asleep to the sound of the other person's light snoring.
The following morning, Jiro woke up to find his head using Hiroyuki's chest for a pillow.
Embarrassed, Jiro tried to get up without waking Hiroyuki up. However, the moment he moved, the human pillow sense the disturbance and opened his eyes.
"Good morning," Hiroyuki said cheerfully.
"Ah," caught in the act of removing Hiroyuki's arm, Jiro uncomfortably replied, "Good morning."
"What time is it?" Hiroyuki asked.
Looking at the clock nearby, Jiro said, "Eight o'clock."
Hiroyuki instantly sat up. "I have to get ready for work or else I'm going to be late."
Leaving the floor, Hiroyuki fled to the bathroom to prepare for work.
Meanwhile, Jiro stared dazedly at the closed bathroom door. He had just realized he spent the night in Hiroyuki's embrace. The sudden realization made him feel warm and fuzzy.
Now he had someone to stand behind him.
How nice it was to have an ally. An ally who pampered him. He knew Hiroyuki didn't need to treat him well. They had no blood relations. And Hiroyuki didn't owe him anything. That's why it was hard for him to believe Hiroyuki at first. But right now, even if Hiroyuki was lying to him, Jiro still wanted to believe. He wanted to believe it with all of his heart.
If someday he had to leave, Jiro would never forget the time he spent with Hiroyuki. There are just some things in life you never want to forget. He would keep it in his heart forever.
