Could it be? Was it really him? Were my eyes deceiving me just like my head does? It's funny how I can't even trust myself anymore. The tall figure in front of me had snow-white hair that covered some of his left eye. His eyes shined a ruby red as bright as the moon shined white. His skin was pale and look like if you were to touch him, you'd feel coldness. So cold, it's inhuman. His clothes were torn and ripped, he looked much thinner than normal, as if he was starving, and he had bruises and cuts all over him. I would normally be emotional at times like these and cry just from seeing him again, but how do I know if it's really him? My mind has played me too many times… Either way, I was finally at peace. No matter if this Vincent was my hallucination. As Vincent took a step forward, I heard rustling from Aaron and looked over to see him holding a gun pointed at Vincent's head as he yelled, "Who are you?!". My eyes widen in shock. Aaron could see him?! It really was Vincent! I found him! I really found him! As much as I wanted to get up and hug him, I couldn't. I laid there limp, lingering my hand to him "Vincent...!" I yelled out tiredly but in pure joy.
Aaron slowly lowered his weapon and surprise and shock consumed his face "You're Vincent? You're a proper person?" he asked. I wondered why Aaron would ask such a question. Did he not believe me? Did he think I was going insane...? Yet, he brought me here because he wanted me to find peace… Aaron really isn't such a bad guy. Vincent nodded as he came closer and got down onto his knees "Yes, I'm real. I'm Vincent Clarisse Von Gillérion and this is my lover Sky Dulong Lace" He spoke as he pulled me into his arms "Sky…" he stroked my cheek with his icy hands. I didn't care how cold they were, I missed them so much. I missed the feeling of his body close to mine. I could tell by the look in his eyes he was sad. He hated seeing me in this state, and I hated him seeing me like this too. He placed his forehead against mine "I'm so sorry Sky… You look terrible… It's all my fault…" He blamed himself.
I closed my eyes and leaned more into his touch "It's not. I'm so happy I could see you again." I muttered. Vincent pulled away to look at me. The mood quickly changed to becoming serious "I need to drink your blood Sky. It's the only way to save us both." He explained. I nodded and wrapped my arms around him, exposing more of my neck to him. He didn't need to explain much, he looked as if he could die any second if he didn't eat. I would not waste both of our time left to question him. He bites down into my skin as I bite down on my lip. It's just as painful as it used to be, and also a hint of pleasure. You would think that him drinking my blood would make me weaker, but I felt the complete opposite. I felt as if I was getting my strength back, as if I was getting my time added to life back. A moment later Aaron pushed Vincent off me and pulled me away from him "What the hell do you think you doing to him?!" Aaron asked as his overprotective side kicked in.
Vincent whipped my blood from his lips and glared at Aaron as his eyes shined a darker red. Vincent was getting angrier by the second. I quickly got in between them and stared at Aaron "Stop! Vincent is a vampire alright?! He needs my blood to survive and I need him to survive. I know it makes little sense, but it's true! I love him with all my heart, Aaron. Please, don't hurt him" I begged. Aaron slowly lowered his guard and looked over at him "Are you serious Sky? How can I let you get eaten like this? Do you know how crazy this sounds? It's like something from a novel or a movie." He replied, but I quickly responded "I know… I know… But look at me" I said as I spun around slowly "I can walk, and move, and speak. I couldn't do this for the life of me before. Vincent Is proof I need him to survive," I tried explaining. Aaron looked me up and down, just now realizing that I looked better than before. He looked back and Vincent with a small glare "If you break his heart, I swear I will break every bone in your body," he declared.
Vincent glared back at Aaron "If I broke Sky's heart, I would have done the same before you even could" he said without a stutter. I smiled softly, seeing that they were both at an agreement and Aaron fully put his gun away. I ran over to Vincent and hugged him tightly. I felt his arms around me and love consumed us both. I couldn't believe it, we finally had each other again and now he looked much better after drinking my blood. His wounds healed up quickly on their own until it looks as if he wasn't hurt, to begin with. He placed one hand on my waist and the other on my chin, lifting it up to look him in the eyes "You look so beautiful Sky. You don't know how lonely it was without you, how much I longed for your warm touch." He spoke. I gave a soft smile "You have no clue what I've been through, waiting for this exact moment." I replied. He held me even closer and our lips slowly met and we kissed under the moonlight. It felt so unreal, but yet real. It differed from all my other dreams. I could feel him. His clothing, his body, his hair, everything. I wasn't going insane anymore. This was really him.
~Surprise~
So, a lot of you know I was planning to move over to a different platform, and trust me, I was. I have decided against it because they could make readers pay to read each chapter. That is something I don't want to ever happen, even if I get money in return. The crucial point of my novels is to bring entertainment to my readers. Maybe one-day people would buy my novels, but there was no way I would make them pay for each chapter. Let alone, I struggle with posting every single week. It would just be a waste, so I'm staying here. I will also post Living With a Vampire on Wattpad to maybe spread the novel out more. I'm excited to say that I am officially staying here and on Wattpad!
