"Dad! Dad, please... please don't leave me...!" She held her fathers lifeless body in her arms. Teardrops were coming out of her eyes and the clouds. Her BestFriend Maria walked behind her and placed her hand on her friend's shoulder.
"Cindy, he's gone.." She looked down at her friend who was in tears because of what happened to her father.
"He... he should've stayed home... he shouldn't have gone out... why..? Why?" Maria didn't know what to say to her friend to make her feel better. In fact there was nothing to make her feel better, all she could wish for her friend is the best for her.
"Let's go, Cindy." Maria let go of her shoulder and started to walk away.
"Wait!" Cindy yelled for her friend to wait up for her, Maria turned her head to face her friend. "C-can't we give him a proper funeral?" She fidgeted with her thumbs to calm herself.
Maria nodded at her words. Then asked, "Where at?" A smiled formed on Cindy's face.
"Slingbour." Maria didn't know what to say, that was a dangerous place, but since the kingdom was trying to make it a safer place, she could only nodd at her friends words.
Maria walked over to where Co du was and picked up her friends fathers body and went to Slingbour. When they reached Slingbour, the rain has stopped. The went to an empty grave stone and sighed up a whole, The got an coffin, and put the body inside it. Cindy started to cry again to see her father be put under ground, she never thought that this day would come. Cindy walked away leaving Maria behind, Maria headed home and so did Cindy. Cindy lived alone with her cat. Raven. Raven was a playful cat, he would always play with the chickens Cindy has in the backyard. Raven is also lovable, whenever you're sad or depressed raven is there for you, he would always cuddle or lay down with you.
Cindy was getting ready for bed when something hit her. She was going to find who killed her father. She would start to train tomorrow.
