Oliver got back to Edward's mansion, he went to his room and turned on the news while changing clothes.
"New's reporter says- that 10 villains were caught by a so-called "Hero". As far as we know "Heroes" are illegal in Horizon and especially in the outside world. But this one is being very liked by the public.
"Back to you Mitch."
"Thanks for the input Bmitch. Alright, we are here at the crime scene. We gained access to some footage someone took and take a look at it. The hero is constantly being fought by the enemy, and here the villains are just getting whooped. And you can see here, the hero just blasts them with orange energy and leaves them knocked out for the police."
Oliver looked closer to the hero's mask. "I feel...like I know him,"
Oliver turned off the screen and lay on his bed and thought, "Yeah right. Why would I know someone like that? No chance. No chance at all."
Oliver punched the air. "Think I can do that, be a hero?" he asked himself. "Why would I save people in the first place?"
"Oh, I don't know," Oliver replied to himself sarcastically. "Because I'm not heartless."
Edward called Oliver down for dinner. After eating Oliver went back upstairs he finished his homework. Then Oliver brushed his teeth, changed and went to bed.
The next day Oliver bathed, ate, and left the house. He walked into the village that he normally goes through to get to school. The old lady whom Oliver did not know her name waved at him, Oliver waved back respectfully. Oliver walked past the bakery where he usually bought a bagel but he didn't really feel like it today. He pulled out his phone and started reading.
One of the great things about his senses was that he doesn't need to watch where he is going, the vibrations and noise allow him to walk without looking.
Oliver walked out of the village and onto the bridge to Mid-Horizon. The bridge gleamed with Gold and silver. Horizon was just beautiful.
Oliver crossed the bridge and walked up the staircase to Mid-Horizon. He saw a few kids coming out of the towers and walking into Horizon.
Oliver walked passed three students who were punching and kicking a kid/victim. Oliver looked up from his phone.
"I told you not to snitch," said one of the bullies.
"Do you know what happens to snitches?" asked another one of the bullies.
The kid got kicked in the face.
"You guys got anything better to do in the morning?" Oliver asked.
The bullies looked up at Oliver cracking their knuckles.
"What do we have here, a pawn?"
"A pawn that'll beat the crap out of you if you continue to beat him. Hell, I'll just beat the crap out of you anyways," said Oliver sarcastically.
A Bully tried to kick at Oliver but Oliver was too fast and grabbed the Bullies leg and kicked him in the stomach.
One of the other Bullies swung at Oliver, who swiftly dodged the attack.
"Did your mom not teach you to be patient, I'll beat you up soon," Oliver mocked.
The victim ran away from the fight and retreated to safety but was still interested in watching the fight.
"Argh, GET HIM!" Exclaimed the obvious leader of the three Bullies.
Oliver then generated a lightning blade. And the kids stepped back.
"Who wants a clean hit?" asked Oliver sarcastically. "You? Or maybe you?"
Then someone charged at Oliver from behind.
Oliver turned around and got punched in the stomach. He gasped as the air inside him dispersed.
Oliver rolled to the side and raised his hand as the new attacker tried to kick him.
Oliver's sword came flying back into his hand.
Oliver raised the sword and the attacker started circling him.
"Your, not a normal pawn are you?" asked the attacker.
"And you don't have a life do you? Helping these bullies," Oliver responded.
Oliver studied his opponent and noticed his uniform is different from the other kids. "You're a high ranker," he said pitifully.
"Yeah," replied the opponent still circling Oliver. "A guardian, in fact."
Oliver dashed straight at him, the high ranked generated a knife and tried to stab Oliver.
But to the Rankers dismay, Oliver warped behind him and slashed at his back.
In a flash, someone appeared in front of Oliver and parried his attack.
"Step back, fool,"
Oliver felt that he was in the presence of someone strong, but he wasn't a coward. He started the fight, and he was going to end it, one way or another.
Oliver ignored the command and dashed back whilst throwing a lightning bolt at him.
But he just raised his hand and Oliver's lightning bolt hit a barrier.
"Lightning?" he asked while looking at the guardian beside him.
"...Summon Isen, I'd like a word with him..."
Oliver couldn't hold back his question. "You know Isen?"
"Of course I do, don't you know who I am?"
"No," said Oliver confidently.
"I am the Chairman! And you have become an enemy of the hierarchy,"
"I'm so scared," joked Oliver.
"You best watch your back!"
Oliver didn't feel like making another "I can't watch my back" joke. He made his sword disintegrate.
"I'll see you around, Chairman," he said mockingly as he warped into the castle.
"Fweh, his presence. Is horrific," Oliver said relieved.
"Whose presence?" said a familiar voice.
Oliver looked up only to see Isen walking towards him. Oliver wondered if he had actually been "summoned" by the chairman,
"Nothing," replied Oliver. "Nothing at all. Oh, by the way where are you heading?"
"I was supposedly summoned by the chairman, you want to come along and see him?" asked Isen.
"I'd love to but... I'm meeting up with Sami," said Oliver which he regretted almost instantly, once Isen finds out that he fought with the Chairman and the Guardian, he'll know that he lied to him.
"Right," said Isen. "I'll see you around,"
Oliver quietly followed Isen, it was easier than following a person normally since Oliver's senses were dialed up by more than 20 times normal. So Oliver stayed a good distance away from Isen. Oliver made sure he waited to lose his field of vision on Isen before he kept following.
Suddenly Isen stopped walking and engaged in a conversation with the Chairman. Oliver sat down on a bench far from them and listened.
"There you are Isen," said the Chairman.
"You called?" asked Isen.
"Yes, oh you can go now," said the Chairman dismissing the other guardian.
Once the guardian left Isen talked. "Why did you want to see me, Connor?"
Oliver assumed that the Chairman's name must be "Connor."
"What I wanted to talk about was that I met this Pawn. Who has the ability to fight..." Connor continued.
"Not good," thought Oliver.
"Yeah he was that strong, and apparently he said he knew you," said Connor. "This worries me if anyone -And I mean anyone- get's in the way of our hierarchy we'll have people becoming apprentices. And if that happens we will no longer be in control of who graduates and who doesn't.
That's why we bully the weak links..."
Oliver's face flushed with fury. "These bastards, control the way the school works? And Isen IS FINE WITH IT?" he thought.
"So you need to stop him without making it obvious," continued Connor.
"Oh yeah," mumbled Oliver. "I dare you guys to make a move, I'll always be fifty steps ahead of you,"
"Alright," said Isen, Oliver sensed hesitation in his breath, but that didn't mean anything to Oliver because Isen still listened to that fool.
Isen and Connor parted ways.
"Let's find Oliver," said Isen to himself. "He must be with Sami..."
Oliver speed walked far away from Isen and pulled out his phone.
-Sami Parker DM (Direct Message)
----Oliver has turned chat history off----
Oliver: Yo, Sami. Listen to every word I say.
Sami: K...
Oliver: If Isen confronts you, say that we walked through the Great Hall. And I met you about after 8 in the morning.
Sami: Alright, but why?
Oliver: Just do what I say, I'll explain in class.
Sami: Ok.
----Oliver has turned chat history on----
"Bring it on, hierarchy. I can fight a war," Oliver said to himself whilst walking straight to class. For the rest of the periods, Oliver easily avoided Isen and explained to Sami what was going on. Sami wasn't happy with Isen but agreed to not pummel him into the ground.
Sami was way stronger than his rank Oliver noticed. Especially his muscle strength, he worked out every day, yet he ate cookies sometimes. Which was why people often called him
"The Strong Cookie Monster" as a joke.
Oliver confronted Ryan and asked him about apprentices. Ryan just said that "Only very lucky students were accepted as apprentices. That's why people usually don't go for it. But if you're accepted as an apprentice you are trained to help protect Mid-Horizon from other countries like Eventide." Ryan went on explaining how Eventide was filled with enemies of Horizon, even though it was a beautiful place.
Oliver dismissed all of this and focused on the problem right now.
If he wanted to take down the present hierarchy, he needs comrades, not just Sami. He needed people who are willing to fight the hierarchy.
Once Oliver got back to Edwards house he confronted Edward about Apprentices.
Edward was actually happy that Oliver was interested.
Oliver sat down to the opposite side of the table where Edward was sitting.
"So, what is your question?" asked Edward.
"How hard is it to become an apprentice?"
"Harder than most people think, even people with the highest scores sometimes aren't accepted," said Edward.
"Why is that?" Oliver asked.
"I'm not sure," said Edward. "Maybe ask a professor,"
That wasn't much help, Oliver hoped more from Edward but he decided not to press on any further.
"Well, thanks for the help anyways," said Oliver getting up from his seat and walking to his room.
Oliver needed to understand the roles of apprentices, and then make a team to take over the current hierarchy. Oliver decided that it was time to visit Edwards library.
Oliver closed the library door behind him and searched for a book that would be useful. He then found a book named:-
-Mid-Horizon A History-
Mid-Horizon wasn't always a famous Horizian castle that was lead by Kings and Queens.
It was first just a part of "The Town of Beginnings"
Over time the first king constructed a castle with his powers. Which took over 73 years to complete.
And in this castle the "Half-Bloods" or Half-Mortals we're given training by professors that were hired. And over time "The City of Horizon" was built. And the Kingdom of Horizon was also built. The King instead now has two castles. But the Main castle is "The Castle of Horizon" which was on the larger island. And "Mid-Horizon" on the smaller island and is now just a boarding school for all of the kids with powers.
A hierarchy was created to show how good the students were, and their level of ability.
Then one year "The Kingdom of Eventide" attacked Horizon. Lead by Lord Lucifer himself. But then after Lucifer had fallen, the Kingdom of Eventide regained balance and peace. But Horizon was now a continent, and the three Kingdoms on the continent Horizon are "The Kingdom of Eventide, The Kingdom of Aurora, and The Kingdom of Horizon,"
Each had their own culture but then a bunch of them merged and now languages and culture are equally diverse.
But after a century or two conflict had risen between the three Kingdoms and in result each Kingdom created schools, Horizon already had one though. But each Kingdom had a school for "Half-Bloods" and the Half-Bloods that were good enough were made apprentices. "Warriors" the most famous and at the top of the list, second was "Ninjas," And after we're the "Assassins," next were the "Shrouds."
Each had a basic role.
The Warriors have to train themselves to get strong enough for a battle, and they had to be fit. So students that wanted to become warriors had to train hard.
The Ninjas were undoubtedly one of the coolest types of men, their job was to coordinately infiltrate the enemy when needed.
The Assassins were one of the least popular sets of people, they masked their faces and followed orders assassinating whoever was in the way of the Kingdom.
Then we're the Shrouds, they were the least popular out of all of them. They were mysterious and had their faces covered by a hood and their job was to venture out of the land and report back to the Kingdom. In the public's eye, it was a boring job. Shrouds have a knack of stealthily appearing out of nowhere and most of them were practically invisible. Sightings were rare to come by since there were only 72 Shrouds and the Shrouds weren't willing to have any more apprentices. People say the Shrouds are abnormal since their stealth has grown so much that they are impossible to notice.
"Interesting," Oliver stated aloud closing the book. "I really want to finish it, but I've got to figure out what's been going on, with Isen. And I need to make a team. I'll start with calling Gugs.
Oliver listened to the phone ringing. He then heard the phone pick up.
"Hello, Oliver you there?"
"Yeah," replies Oliver. "I'm going to explain something to you...
After Oliver finished explaining to Gugs what was going on with Hierarchy and Isen Oliver asked him if he wanted to join a rebellion.
Gugs agreed because he knew it was for the greater good.
Oliver then wondered who he should call next. He stared at his contact and decided to call Alyss.
"Hey, Oliver. This you?" she asked over the phone.
"Yup said Oliver, I explained something to Gugs. I need to explain this to you as well..."
"Ok, go ahead,"
Oliver explained the entire situation to Alyss. And Alyss agreed to help fight against the Hierarchy.
Oliver also invited Ryan, Max. Chris, Ashley, Fionna, And a bunch of other people.
Oliver felt accomplished and he knew that Isen couldn't come to Edwards house so that was lucky Oliver. But Oliver still wanted to figure out why Isen and agreed to this Hierarchy. Suddenly Oliver's phone rang, it was Isen. Oliver ignored the call but Isen kept on going. So Oliver picked up.
"Yo!" Oliver exclaimed. "Can I help you with something?"
"Yes," said Isen. "What happened between you and the Chairman?" asked Isen.
"Nothing," Oliver replied. "Nothing at all,"
"The real question," said Oliver. "Why are you listening to that bastards commands and agreeing to his bullshit Hierarchy?"
"I-I'm not," stammered Isen. "I have to listen to him since he's a higher rank, or else I will be demoted and forgotten,"
"DAMN IT ISEN!" Oliver shouted. "You're going to join the rebellion whether you like it OR NOT! Understand?"
"...Yes..." said Isen sounding a bit reluctant.
"You think Ed would be happy to know what you've been doing?" asked Oliver.
"No-" said Isen. "Please don't tell Edward, I agree to join the rebellion,"
"Yeah, you better," said Oliver as he hung up the phone.
This was the beginning of a new journey, where Oliver would become someone else...he would become something else...
*Dramatic music ends the scene*

"How's the plan going master," said a suspicious man in a shaggy cloak.
"It's working, soon we'll have him," replied the master with a dark hoarse voice. The Master turned around on his office chair, he had an evil grin on his face and he said,
"Everything...is going according...to my plan,"

-This chapter was filled with a bunch of information, how Horizon is made up of the three major kingdoms. And there are other small islands that makeup Horizon but are less important.
-Oliver's/ My favorite number is "7"
-Sami's favorite number is "3"
-I may or may not have said this... but look out for numbers that have anything to do with seven and three, they may have a clue that leads to something.
