It's been two years since she met Fei again, her best friend was greatly irresponsible. She dumped a huge load of information onto and left her. She didn't even tell her what Damien looked like.
Zeus was getting really irritated, her father who was supposedly was going to be away for a week has been gone for 2 years. Her brother has not sent her back a single letter, was it that hard to let your sister know you were alive? Fortunately, her remaining family members cheered her up greatly.
Zeus played with the marble in her hand, there was 5 and then you couldn't see it anymore due to the movement of her hand. Shin stayed silently by her side.
"How do you think my brother is doing?" Her child like essence was slowly disappearing. The more she was exposed to violence and the cruelty of the world the more her heart froze. Obviously the world wasn't all sprinkles and butterflies and sweetness everywhere.
Shin gave up a thumbs up, Zeus chuckled there she goes again losing hope in the world so fast. She was so young and yet she was unable to truly enjoy the world.
Tomorrow was the great match up and she would be done partnering up with Bellani. She was a cute and honest little fellow, she would do well when she grew up.
The next day she met up with Bellani who had tears in her eyes. "What's wrong?" Zeus asked gently.
Bellani who had so much to say withheld her words, "I will prove to you how much stop her 8've gotten."
Zeus smiled at the young child and patted her on the head. The great match up was where the strongest in the grade would be named Valedictorian and would to show off their skills. They also get to pick someone as their partner and the person can't refuse. Zeus wouldn't be able to participate in this competition since she was graduating soon. Zeus wished her lucked and then left. She believed Bellani would be able to win.
Zeus was a busy woman, ever since she turned in the document her brother gave her to the King. He has been requesting her to appear before him, luckily Zeus still had her grandfather with her so she handed all authorities to him to deal with the cases.
Doctor Welson, the man who was pretending to be my father was slowing losing his energy. His face was sunken in and his voice was rasped form speaking in my fathers voice.
"Young Master," his voice called out like it was wilted, " The master said he's coming back tonight, yehh." Doctor Welson was ready to be freed from his position, he really wanted to retire early. Zeus praised him, "good job, I will tell father to give you a raise for your excellent contribution."
Doctor Welson's eyes lit up after hearing about the raise, "hehe of course I'm trying my best because I love this job."
Zeus chuckled.
Everyone was trying their bests so she shouldn't get upset that she was not able to meet them. Shin watched Zeus warmly, the young master was growing up too fast. Within the last two years her demeanor greatly changed from when she was with family to when she was working. For a young child to be forced to mature so early it was a saddening thing. Forced maturity due to inexplicable situation is a trauma response. Although Zeus's situation was different she was already a adult within.
Nighfall arrived and she received news of the great match up. Bellani had ultimately won the competition in her grade and was the first to reject picking a partner, she declared solidarity. This was something nobody had ever done before in the academy. She rejected the system put in place to teach the young males to take advantage of their gender to create a harem. The academy should be a place to create a place of equality for any gender and status.
Zeus was proud of her, all her teachings did not go to waste. Also this year a common for the first time ever won the competition for his grade, his name was London. It sounded very familiar to Zeus, but Zeus couldn't seem to remember.
She breathe out a big sigh, life was moving so fast she was already 8. As she zoned out to sudden figures appeared in the room. She threw 2 small daggers immediately aiming to kill. Shin positioned himself to protect her.
"Woah!" A deep familiar voice yelled, "I came back for the first time in a while and my son just tried to kill me, Papa is sad."
After hearing his voice Zeus immediately ran to hug him, all this time they were just talking through letters and she missed him so much. She felt her tears rushed out, she missed him so much.
"Zuzy brother is here too!"
Zeus didn't bother to reply, why should she he has ignored her for the pass two years. Father patted Zeus on the back, come on now your brother had his own reasons. I actually didn't even talk to him the last year and a half. "What? Papa I thought you told me you were with him." Zeus said confused.
"I was with him but he wasn't with me." Zeus was even more confused.
" I left my body with father but my soul was gone," victor spoke up, "you should be able to understand."
After being given a legitimate reason Zeus stopped acting so stubborn and went to hug her brother, "I've missed you so much!"
The three met up with the rest of the family and everyone cried till their eyes puffed up.
