"Whose children's are these?" Duke Fidd asked when he noticed four little kids running around the mansion.
Madame Racheal smiled mischievously, " I gave birth to those two climbing the tree."
Duke Fidd froze, "Ahaha I see you've gotten into joking when I wasn't around."
Nobody laughed and the mood silenced, Duke Fidd looked at Doctor Welson for confirmation.
Doctor Welson slowly nodded, He actually knew the truth but he decided to play along since Madame Racheal was basically the better thigh to hold onto between the two.
Duke Fidd made a face of confusion and before he could overthink anymore Madame Kane walked in and all the kids yelled out, "Mommy!"
He breathed a sigh of relief, " You guys got me good, I don't know what to say. Ahahah"
Zeus prayed for her poor father, her mother still held a grudge against her father for leaving without a notice for two years. It seems she wasn't going to let him go easily.
" Unlike someone who left for two years without notice, I went through childbirth again without my idiot husband by my side." Racheal mumbled, but the refined ear of a warrior could easily hear what she said.
"Huh? Honey tell me what's going on, I apologize I left without fully explaining where I was going but you have to cut me some slack. I was doing it for my eldest son." Father pleaded with his eyes. On cue, Father and Victor immediately grasped onto each arm.
"Come one mother, why don't you just explain to father what's going on?" With his puppy eyes it warmed Mother Rachel's heart.
Madame Racheal and Duke Fidd went to talk privately, everyone dispersed to give them alone time. Victor pulled Zeus aside, "Zuzy I got you a present." He handed her necklace, " keep this on you always, promise me." He handed her his pinky, "Pinky promise!"
Zeus was a little bit taken back, her brother has matured greatly within these two years. His soft hands were now rough and coarse. His pure eyes now seem like someone whose went through life and death. Zeus connected her pinky with his, "Pinky promise."
" Brother you seem so different now, is there something you should be telling me?" Zeus asked curiously.
Victor smiled, " Zuzy of course I seem different I was away for two years."
Something else didn't make sense, how could a child mature this fast? Zeus suddenly remember Fei, she had come back from the future she said.
Carefully choosing her words she asked, "are you from the future?"
It made sense because Fei had come back why couldn't someone else come back. He also called Zeus his sister, it could be understandable why he was so mature.
Victor's jaw dropped, "why would you think that?"
She didn't understand why Victor tried to deny it, knowing his personality he would try to solve as many things for her as possible without her knowing. "I know about Damien, I've met Fei."
Victor held his mouth closed, "she came back too?" His voice was shaking and his eyes teared up. Interesting…what was the relationship between these two?
He breathed a huge sigh of relief, " I don't know where to start, there is just so much to explain."
Zeus smiled, "We have all the time in the world right now."
Zeus listened in amazement about the future, Victor watched his sisters face change from happy to disgusted so fast. He felt it was so surreal being about to talk with his sister in peace again.
Getting to the serious part Victor started to cry, Zeus was shocked. " I can't tell you somethings because the rule of the world doesn't allow me to say it. In the future there will be many tragedies, one of the first being Damien. We couldn't save him and this caused Mother to have ever lasting trauma and it ended the relationship between our parents. Slowly the people around us passed away. Zuzy you grew you be very different, you became a blood thirsty monster…a front you put on. You were the person who cared the most trying to protect everyone. In the end…" Victor broke down. Zeus didn't know what to say, it seems the future was full of dangers.
"Zuzy, you went through the ****** Gate alone…everyone fought so hard and it seems it was useless. Nobody was prepared for what was coming. Mother died, Father died, Grandfather also, everyone one dead. I was the only left and it had been five years since you went into the gate. I died fighting, but everything is ok now since I've come back."
Without Zeus realizing it tears began to pour out, she couldn't imagine the amount of pain her brother must be going through. " Brother you aren't alone anymore." She hugged him tightly. Her brother who was missing the family so badly decided not to spend any family time but went ahead to train so that the future wouldn't come true again. The future must not be repeated again Zeus will do anything to protect her family.
